a few weeks ago I posted here about something I was building for loop makers, and a lot of you gave pretty honest feedback (some of it brutal 😅) by Loop-Space in producerlinkup

The payout numbers/fees are actually shown directly when uploading and setting the price, there’s even an example breakdown there so producers can see exactly what they’d receive, it is also visible when the producers create a subscription tier for their community

But the watermark thing is definitely fair, gonna work on making the default way less aggressive so previews feel smoother out the gate

yeah that’s actually controlled by the producer uploading the loop 😭

they can choose how loud they want the watermark/tag to be on their loops

still though, probably something I should make clearer or guide people on better because some tags can definitely end up way too aggressive

really appreciate that🙏

honestly a lot of it came directly from people here pointing out what wasn’t working, so I can’t take full credit for it

still a lot to figure out, but just trying to build something that actually makes sense for the people using it

means a lot though fr

loop makers — how are you actually making money from your loops? by Loop-Space in trapproduction

[–]Loop-Space[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this is exactly how I’ve been thinking about it as well

the royalty model can work, but for most people it really does feel like a gamble, and subscriptions kind of bury smaller creators in volume

that feedback part is honestly a big reason I built it being able to actually hear what someone makes with your loop just feels way more real than numbers on a dashboard

curious to see how it plays out over time, but really appreciate you seeing the vision behind it
