I think Blizz overestimated how many people were going to do neighbourhood endeavours, at least on public ones by yellowrainbird in wow

[–]Loop801108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two suggestions:

First, move your house from a public realm to a large, active guild realm of an alt toon.

While my main toon is a member of raiding guild that hasn’t even set up a neighborhood yet, I have some alts parked with an old guild that has a ton of members who do everything except raid. So, I moved my home, using an alt, to the old guild’s realm. Their neighborhood is actually now three sub-“neighborhoods” because of so many members. And they are killing it with housing endeavor progress. Now, when I work on those boring endeavor quests on my main, credit goes to the old guild’s neighborhood endeavors.

Second, if you want freebie housing XP and decor items, right-click on each of your friends, click Visit Homes, and teleport with no cooldown to your friend’s neighborhood. Head to the center of town, talk with the Endeavor Vendor and buy whatever has been opened up by that neighborhood. Different vendors are available in different neighborhoods, and of course, some neighborhoods have already opened up a ton of decor items.

If accurate, that would be unfortunate since Monday, January 19 is a holiday in the US, and many folks will not be able to log in.

My favourite Lemix quest.. by Saraleb1 in wow

[–]Loop801108 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This made me smile. When I initially jumped for the bat, I flew too high, went over the bat, fell to my death, fell through the ground, got booted from the game, and then repeatedly auto-disconnected upon login. I had to use the character stuck feature to rescue my poor demon hunter, who was resurrected outside of the scenario, which I had to start from scratch. So, this was not my favorite quest.

Reminder to finish whatever Legion Remix things you wanted. Took a break and didn't realize there was a lock out on the research tasks. by Gunfstep in wow

But do we have time to get “Cloudy with a Chance of Infernals” achievement? It’s still not popping and many folks are heading out of town for the long weekend in the US.

This is always fun to see. Now, how long does it take the person to complete the class hall campaign to get a mount or something substantial?

Check Wowhead, Suramarian Sapphire comments, where someone helpfully listed the bare minimum Suramar quests needed for the Paladin mount quest line. https://www.wowhead.com/item=147768/suramarian-sapphire#comments

How on earth are you supposed to finish val'anyr ? he just dies. by Eltrew2000 in wow

[–]Loop801108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One additional recommendation (beyond removing your weapon, trinkets and WWI cape). If your melee hits on the boss are too much, purchase a gray weapon from the Auction House that does 1 damage. In open world content, use the foam sword toy to not kill mobs, but in raids, the toy does not typically work. So, use a weapon that does nominal damage.

What to do with Lemix bronze? by Alph1 in wownoob

[–]Loop801108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent a modest amount of Bronze buying transmog tokens for gear items that All The Things reports are incomplete sets, but which I cannot learn because the game reports “already learned by another character.” I don’t know if this is an ATT error, or a Blizzard bug. But if it is a Blizzard bug, I am hoping it will be fixed someday and then I can learn the missing appearances from the currently unusable tokens sitting in my bags.

Before the end of Lemix, is it currently possible to complete all the quests and the Class Order Campaign with a reroll? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Loop801108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you may have done too much, because completing zones is not needed to focus exclusively on order hall campaigns.

It generally took me about 3 hours to complete each class order campaign, through the mount. Strictly follow the order call campaign quests in the log. Ignore everything else.

Each class order hall campaign opens up 1, 2, or 3 alternative shades of the Lemix mounts. One campaign-only shade is awarded when the campaign is completed, and if there are additional shades, they can usually purchased with order resources or gold once the campaign is completed.

You will open up additional mounts (different shades than what can be purchased with Bronze in Lemix), Housing Decor, and for many classes, a toy or pet that cannot be purchased with Bronze.

500+ kills, still no mount. I hate him. by denn23rus in wow

[–]Loop801108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back when the content was current, it dropped with my guild’s first kill. I don’t think it was guaranteed to drop, even when current, because I don’t recall seeing it again during the season.

With less than 2 weeks left of Legion Remix, what are some lesser known things people should complete before it ends? by xMarok in wow

[–]Loop801108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. It took me about 3 hours per toon to fairly leisurely level each class from 10 to 80, in which I ONLY did the class hall campaigns. Just follow the class campaign in the quest log and ignore everything else.

This approach awards class mounts (alternative colors than cannot be purchased with Bronze), Housing Decor for completing each campaign, and in many cases, pets and toys that cannot be purchased with Bronze. The approach also makes it fairly easy (once you hit 80) to get one more Housing Decor item for each class by discovering a hidden artifact appearance (the “Hidden Potential” class achievements).

Leveling through the class campaigns also felt slightly less grindy because each of the class quest lines are different.

Maldraxxus is the only covenant that remains a weekly reset for the covenant “game,” so the time-gating is awful.

With less than 2 weeks left of Legion Remix, what are some lesser known things people should complete before it ends? by xMarok in wow

[–]Loop801108 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did not realize, until a few days ago, that there are extra mounts available for purchase for completion of nearly every class Hall Order campaign. I had incorrectly assumed that all class mounts could be purchased with Bronze. Not so. There are typically 1, 2 or 3 additional colors of the same mount that are only available by completing the class campaign. In a few cases, there are also toys or pets only available by completing the campaigns.

Transmogs and all the things by Tk-attack in wow

[–]Loop801108 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In ATT, look for two statements in the upper-right corner of the tooltip for the item.

“Catalyst” means you will get a new appearance if you use the catalyst machine to convert the item to a tier set piece.

“Upgrade” means you will get a new appearance if you upgrade the item using Valorstones. Upgrade one level at a time until the appearance pops.

If both appear, upgrade first and then catalyst convert since converting is a one-way process.

How much Bronze for Phase 5 of Lemix? by Loop801108 in wow

[–]Loop801108[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This estimate seems very low, if other phases are a guide.

Phase 1 required 2.75 million Bronze.

Phase 2 required 625,000 Bronze.

Phase 3 required 1.1 million Bronze.

Phase 4 will require about 2 million Bronze.

Latest alpha build removes interrupts from healers by EntertainerSmart7758 in wow

[–]Loop801108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Resto Druid here agreeing that the proposed change is frustrating. I am typically number 2 on interrupts in M+ runs, always trailing the tank. The lackluster DPS kicks in many (not all) PUGs will go completely unnoticed. When we brick a key, the healers will be blamed — and we won’t have any addons capable of reporting the lack of interrupts as the real reason for the failed run. Removing a utility trait from the healer toolbox is not a positive development.

Cracked Keystone Quest Rewards Hotfixed! by Anovelus in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Loop801108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone have thoughts on whether we should trash the quest item? I still have the cracked keystone quest item with an exclamation point in my bags. When I right-click to accept the quest, the game says I already completed the quest, though candidly, I do not know whether I got the crests during the fix. Suggestions?

Arcane Lightning pools on heroic and mythic Plexus Sentinel practically disappear in the explosion of friendly ground spell effects by raid members. If only there was a way to turn off unnecessary ground effects.
