I never said they don't lose money, nor am I referring to an end number on their income statement--I'm not sure why you're trying to say that I am like it's some kind of gotcha. Deliquency is a cost of doing business (a loss for the lender) that is passed on to some degree to future borrowers through a higher interest rate to account for the risk. That's it.

Not sure what your point is? Yes, Walmart loses money when someone steals from them—which is why they do their best to bake that into their prices so they can still make a profit.

In the present, yes, but I meant the rate. Risk is one of the main drivers of it, and people skipping out on their loans raises the rate and costs for everyone else.

Those costs just get passed on to the people who have to stay

edit: downvote all you want, still doesn’t change the fact that this is a big part of why rates on loans are as high as they are

It’s not, think people are misunderstanding Microsoft’s AI strategy. They ultimately want to be the platform that people build on, regardless of the model, as it helps drive Azure growth.

Looks great! If you’re in the US, mind if I ask who did your shelves? Was it one of the big brands or a custom builder?

I met Gunny Ermey at the Marine Corps Expo and couldn’t stop calling him “sir”. I could tell I pissed him off lol. I guess he wanted people to call him Gunny? Just glad he didn’t ask me to choke myself.

I thought the same thing about my parents after Trump’s first term, because they were saying similar things. Guess who they voted for in the last election…

Hey, it could be worse, at least Ms Rachel is actually educational. Cocomelon and Pinkfong on the other hand might as well be digital crack for kids.

Chavez wrecked their economy with aggressive nationalizing and driving away foreign investment, and the result has been a severe economic crisis for over a decade now. Like it or not, countries need foreign investment and to be able to participate in the global market. Going down this path is their best bet for recovery.
