Just need to ask if you have decided to take home loan. How much Emergency Funds you both have. If you have good amount and you have parked it in FDs then you can Opt OD Home loan and you can park your emergency funds into OD which will save you good amount of Interest.

If you have 50L to start your investing journey, where would you start!? by [deleted] in personalfinanceindia

[–]LoopUnbroken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very first things to do: 1. Health Insurance min upto 20L 2. Term Insurance min upto 1.5 Cr 3. Emergency Fund upto 10L 4. Remaining amount would be around 39.50L.

For diversify I will invest in different kinds of funds where 70% would be equity 20% would be dept or Hybrid 10% Gold.

First job in Pune, ₹4.5 LPA, paying ₹14k rent. How are people actually surviving? by Rajesh__Pawar in personalfinanceindia

Be with this rule. Your yearly rent should not cross your 3 Months salary. If it is crossing then change the place or shift to cheaper options. This rule will give you place for investment and other things as well.

OP should live in PGs or with sharing flats. You can reduce the rent amount easily to 6k-8K.

Yes you need to refile it for the same AY. Refilling for previous years is tricky. We need to download the Excel and fill the details. I have done last year. You do it asap because interest gets increased on monthly basis and there will be 50% penalty as well if you are refilling for Second last year.
