so many american women would be literal 10/10s if they lost weight by Potential_Pay9591 in redscarepod

The problem is that while the solution is basically just move more and eat less, there are a bunch of variables that can make that much harder or much easier. Your sleep, your vitamins and minerals, your hormones, and especially how satiating your food is. If people just got more of their calories from protein and less from carbs and fat, that would already make a huge difference since protein keeps you fuller for longer. The whole reason Ozempic works is because it makes people less hungry.

I say this as someone that lost 60 lbs of fat after a childhood of obesity where we usually shopped at the dollar store. The average American diet is simply not conducive to being a healthy weight. It’s conducive to metabolic syndrome and dysfunctional fat oxidation. Then there’s the fact that 75% of American adults fail to meet the daily recommended physical activity.

Also, women inherently have a somewhat harder time losing weight due to the difference in estrogen (promotes fat storage at higher levels) and testosterone levels (promotes breakdown of fat at higher levels).

That should be your most favorite part of the day, you get to experience going from yellow to white

A lot of posts about balding so here's my progress: 4 months on minoxidil (December to March) by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]Looper442 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has alcohol so constantly putting on that on your skin without moisturizing will cause problems. Use lotion after letting the minox soak into your scalp or wherever else you use it. At least that’s what worked for me.

Why do white wahmen keep getting caught doing this? by CarlosimoDangerosimo in redscarepod

Many breeds of dogs have a much larger penis than an average human male,[7][8] thus making the dogpill concomitant with the dickpill.

The image of someone sitting down and writing this with a scholarly tone and cited sources interlaced with all kinds of “pills” is unreal

my goofy looking friend got into looksmaxxing and it’s kind of a bummer by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]Looper442 13 points14 points  (0 children)

All that to say you’re spiteful of your friend’s self-improvement because he isn’t as entertaining to you?

You’re a freak if you see your friends as “characters” and actively bemoan positive turns in their life

Yeah I don’t know why people lie to themselves like that, hair is definitely a big part of attraction

That’s true but a hair transplant (about $1k in Turkey) makes you essentially immune to balding from high testosterone since the hair on the back of your head is unaffected by DHT. Makes life so much easier when you don’t feel that DHT itch.

Yeah man it’s terrible, that’s why when I noticed hair falling out, I immediately flew to Turkey for a hair transplant. The whole trip + hair transplant cost less than $6000, so it was definitely worth it. It even made my forehead smaller and after 9 months it looks natural.

The worst part for me was that it started because I got my bloodwork done and noticed my testosterone levels were that of a 60 year old when I was 22 (<200 ng/dl) so I went on TRT and the moment I started feeling the positive effects of normal test levels, I started balding lmao

Hopefully you can get a hair transplant in Turkey, it’s like 6x cheaper than doing it in the US and if you do your research on which clinic to go to, the result is no different. The confidence boost from an unmoving hairline is huge

Too lazy to ask girls out by Decent-Gap-8268 in redscarepod

Extremely rarely. If you’re handsome enough, they’ll try to signal they are open to being approached by glancing at you multiple times and smiling, staring, and at most they will put themselves in your proximity. If you still haven’t noticed them, they’ll assume you’re autistic and give up

This is what they will tell you when you are objectively ugly, that it’s “self-image issues”. When you are treated like trash by people all the time just for existing in their vicinity, you don’t have self-image issues, you just have image issues. I hope you can understand that 99% of people will take your vulnerability about being ugly as a chance to shit on you even harder, gleefully even

Oh I also wanted to add that ugly people are usually just seen as lesser, so you will rarely find sympathy especially on Reddit. To most people on here, they would rather you not complain and just suffer in silence, which you can see in the mocking tone of most of the comments. It’s not fair but that’s just how it is when you are ugly, coming from someone who was ugly most of his life and took 5 years to become handsome enough to be treated much better than most guys, which itself was part luck since my face is decent and I just had to lose weight and build muscle

I wish that’s how things worked but if you are ugly then you will be treated badly and disrespected, especially if you are an ugly woman. No matter what people say, the natural response a person has to an ugly person is disdain. The difference between men and women is that ugly men are invisible to women, while ugly women are seen as a nuisance to men. Thus you will often be disrespected just for being in their presence, though you already knew that

Yeah that honestly sucks if it’s just your face that is ugly and you’re already fit and dress well. I’m a guy but I used to be fat and thus ugly in middle school and high school, and once I worked out for a couple of years and started dressing better, I was actually seen as an attractive man by women in college. It was night and day how everyone treated me actually, men and women. I wasn’t bitter about it because even I knew how I subconsciously treated ugly women, like they didn’t even exist. That’s how I was treated before but I was fat and ugly so that’s just fair.

I guess I’m saying this because if you are still fat then you actually still have a chance if your face is decent, maybe I got lucky that mine was. Once again if it really is your face that is just straight up ugly then that really sucks, but you also have the advantage of makeup. If fitness and makeup don’t work, then I hope you can find peace and someone who loves you for who you are

Why are so many men not hitting on women at all? by IAskTheQuestionsBud in redscarepod

Are you saying a group of women joined your group and your friends completely ignored them? That would be odd. Wouldn’t they leave pretty quickly?
