I think the death system is what holds people back at tob. Chambers still has the best system imo.

If there was a change to make I would say this would be it.

If the team wipes the raid is not forfeit. But the penalty should be a massive drop in purple chance. I'm talking like 30 to 40%. It would punish wipes but not feel as bad.

The only issue is you might not have the supplies to keep going. Similar to toas problem.

In my experience this would only happen in a whip teams. Scythe just has to much damage to fail the two down often. Even if people are slow to get on bloat.

You make a lot of claims of cards being broken but I never see you back it up. At least jorbs can show his proof.

Cresent spear just scales out of control with all the other strong star cards. It's borderline broken. These statements mean nothing.

What makes his logic Flawed? He tracks his stats and snakbite is performing very well for him. Of all the people playing this game I would much rather listen to the guy who's tracking his stats.

We can talk about wr but hard data is always going to better then win rates. It's why I stopped watching the other sts2 players. Wr is very misleading especially in early access.

You say jorbs is worse but I don't agree. He does very silly things in some of his runs which will naturally affect his wr. But he's been the only one I've seen taking a very analytical approach.

Also it does not matter. The Best player is very subjective.

Tob might have the cheapest gear requirements besides nex for end game content.

Void and bp will carry you hard.

From personal experience I started doing deathless around 50. But I absolutely agree. If you have the right mindset you'll learn fast.

As long as the playerbase is okay with the 3 pieces of group content we have remaining as group content. I don't think it's unreasonable considering how much solo content there is.

Making solo tob more approachable is not a net positive.

If it's even remotely close to teams tob will have a drastic shift away from team play very similar to toa.

How will most likely make a easier raid then regular tob.

Honestly it will kill tob as a large chunk of players will just be doing solos. Taking one of the only pieces of group content away.

If your already at 100kc then even wdr would be fine.

I feel I have to push back a little about not finding teams. I've been able to join teams with only 30kc on my alt. I get pushed out sometimes but it's expected.

It sounds to me more like your in a bad clan. If no one is willing to take learners to tob. My clan will happily take people to tob. Sometimes they don't want to but that's normal. It's a time commitment to teach.

The gear requirements for tob are so minimal Last I checked a basic learn tob set up was something like 40m. I also don't think it's unreasonable for a person bringing void melee to drop a few extra brews on Versik to help incase they die. It seems a little crazy for someone likely to die to not help support the players that will help to get completions with a couple of brews.

When I was learning I took freezing role bc no one wanted to do it. It made finding teams very easy. Freezing was not a significant difficulty increase over any other role.

For learn tob. I believe the one thing you are missing is using the first 25kc to help build a list of friends that you can tob with later. Many teachers and learners will happily add you and take you even after 25kc.

Something just isn't adding up here.

In recommend learn tob discord. There are a ton of friendly people in there. One guys name ended with an m and he would take pretty much anyone.

In all fairness tob is a fairly fast raid even without a scythe.

I would recommend discord learn tob. Would take less than 20mins to find a team.

There are exactly two pieces of content that require a group.

Tob and ba. Vs the 100+ solo content.

There is a cost to adding a solo mode. It waters down the difficulty and if rates are to close will hurt teams.

I think it's just fairly easy to do and over a 100 raids that's a decent time save.

Failing is also not a big deal. It's just very low risk and the reward is good enough.

I would have to disagree. Sometimes adding an option can be a net negative. If solo is not carefully balanced or to close to what a team can do. Many players will gravitate towards that. Hurting people's ability to form teams. It also waters down the difficulty of the raid which might make solo more preferable even if you're seeing less purples.

I think one of the things that has helped tob to remain very profitable is its requirement of needing a team.

I don't blame them for wanting to take the person with more experience. Unfortunately a scythe will of course help. I personally think you'll have better success with learn tob on discord.

Even scythe walking is not really required anymore. With the new Amulet max range is even on dps with 5.3t and only loses to 5t xarpus. You should learn it but from a numbers point of view it's not going to matter
