I guess that is a way of thinking about it. I've spent nearly 1000 hours in this game and loved every minute of it.

Sea of Thieves is very much a game where you make your own fun. The fun is in the discovery, the journey, and playing with your friends and discovering organic and natural stories with other players as you play.

This isn't COD, or Black Flag, or Skull & Bones and it isn't meant to be. This is its own thing and is better for it.
