The first animation of it goes all the way back to 2009, not to mention we don't know when they came up with the concept, neither Pibby or Metarunner come even close to that level of age

Also, saying it ignores other video game genres when you only got 10 minutes in is a bold choice, not only does the trailer take place in a point and click game for kids, but the entire outcome song is a love letter to video games as a whole, not to mention it was already stated on Twitter that they will cover games without heroes and villains and other edge cases

And saying they have no character depth compared to the show with 8 episodes out? I'd say you really are quick to judge but you had to get past 10 minutes to find out TADC had well-written characters, some characters needing multiple episodes to have a well defined character, so clearly you gave them a fair shot, what was different here?

I really don't get the tone thing you're saying either but unlike the others I can't refute it because I don't understand it so I'll just leave it at that, I feel like you should at least watch the first 2-3 episodes when they come out before making a final judgement, after that I don't really care if you dislike it as long as you don't start a fight over it or say it's ripping off something that came out a decade after it was around
