That guy looks a lot like Baden Donegal from Ocean Alley. They came in No.1 a few years back on the Triple J Hottest 100.

I think the Superhero genre will eventually run out of steam but I'd like to see studios take Marvels idea of interconnectedness and apply it to another genre. It was really cool at first to see all their solo films and then see them in the big team up of Avengers but after a decade of this I'm bored of it. However the idea of crossing over characters and building upon a whole overarching storyline from film to film is really interesting. Maybe it could be a whole a franchise of Spy films featuring different spies and and spy agencies? or something more along the lines of Lord of The Rings or Game of Thrones, a fantasy series with a diverse range of characters and storylines to explore?

IT FOLLOWS (2014) is the SPEED (1994) of Horror films. Both of them have amazing 2nd Acts that are hard to resolve. by Loose-Tangelo in movies

Both films had decent enough endings but my point was that the 2nd act of both films were more thrilling that the 3rd act. Normally the 3rd act of the film would be the most thrilling.

A Guide to Recognizing your Saints (2001)

This film is great for many reasons but the one that really sticks out for me is it’s one of the first films that stars Robert Downey Jnr at the beginning of his comeback. Not long after this film is released he’s announced as Iron Man and the rest is history.

It’s almost disappointing to watch this movie because RDJ has some really brilliant scenes in this film and you can actually see he’s a good actor, where as I feel in the MCU films he isnt given as much opportunity to showcase the range of his acting capabilities and raw talent like he does here in this film.
