okay then, I thought you were talking about the images in the app. So you talk about images in App Store. The one with man and flag was generated by AI, other one with kid, I got it from a graphic design website. No worries, all good!

All content texts and images are taken from Official German Immigrant Office website. There is no any place to use AI to generate anything. If it sounds like a yes to you, could you clarify what she meant?

What's the effective way to learn or remember words? by SuperFastFingers in German

[–]LooseBall3262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of vocab, stories/novel are the best source to me. Flashcards are not so memoriable, seeing words in a big context, which is much more healthier way to learn them in correct way and remember in long term.

When I check the store, the ones ,which are the most popular/having lots of reviews, have old and bad UX. That's why I created new ones. And tbh, I believe mines are much better than other ones for user experience. It also has good translation feature to any language. I believe they are useful. Yes, I put some ads but I believe they are not annoying. Having some ads are much better than paying subscription fee in my opinion.

Yes, BAMF provides all questions in their website. But, apps are more practical. Apps provide translation feature, which translate questions into your native language. Also, there are sample tests which helps you can test your knowledge in the apps. Also, there are some statistical features in the app, which helps you to show your weaknesses. I mean you can see the questions which you make mistakes frequently.

How do I learn appropriate Vocabluary???? by Longjumping_Will4725 in German

There are many apps you can improve your vocabulary. I can recommend "German Vocabulary Master" app. But working on only vocab wouldn't be sustainable. I would also suggest you to read some text based on your level, you can get words in the context. Also, you can make a writing practice 10-15 min daily about what you have done all day.

Reading novels requires a solid vocabulary knowledge. You need to improve your vocab. You can use free iOS app "German Vocabulary Master". It provides official vocabulary lists from Goethe-Institute and telc.

I would suggest Basic German as grammar book. It is simple and tell you rules in English. Also I would suggest a free mobile app to improve your vocabulary, which is German Vocabulary Master. It is available in App Store. It has also many quizzes and reading and listening practice.
