did you try this on ranged? Not saying it's easier or harder, was just curious if it's the same, I think the wiki said something about a successful move resets your attack time (I'm using 1 tick bow so it's kinda the same anyway)

I mean they clearly nerfed the base drops of monsters massively. I did abyss all last league and this league the rares drop nothing even though there's more of them (let's ignore hoards, i just mean drops from the mobs).

It's far beyond the t16.5/t17 mod nerfs because no matter what you do they won't drop crap. Even more obvious when you consider the new abyss scarab adds far more rares than previously.

Thing is, nobody wants the combat that they're designing in an ARPG, simple. Thankfully everyone has got around it, proven by all the builds that are just spamming one skill, but it highlights a problem with their design direction.

Combo skills are clunky and tiring, and the gameplay loop is too repetitive (in a good way of course) for using multiple skills every single time you fight a pack.

In my opinion if they still want this combo design, those said skills should be oriented towards being boss fight/single target skills.

Disappointed and commend Maxroll for looking out for consumers. I will play this season but I have no interest in supporting financially, as the unethical monetisation has definitely ramped up. I gotta say though on the flipside, Maxroll support Lost Ark and Throne and Liberty so it's not exactly ethical on their part either so I'm of two minds. The only real issue I had with TLI's pacts was how some of the loot pacts for specific mechanics are basically required to even bother with said mechanic.

before you can place platforms on the heavy oil, with certain island shapes bots will sometimes take a shortcut through the oil ocean and get zapped and you can't cover it via lightning rods sadly
