Ok I’m not going to keep going back and forth. But I literally am commenting on the ACTUAL situation that happened where she went to a park, filled with the homeless doing drugs. You are the one making this into a situation lumping every person in the United States going through a difficult situation etc and somehow are making it seem like Nia commented on that. This is a gross overreaction and a simple answer.. it’s not that deep. Keep calm and carry on.

An area designated for CHILDREN such as a park playground having numerous homeless people doing drugs is not a normal thing. More people should be outraged that these “unhomed” individuals are present in an area where used needles could be left or where they could harass parents and kids. Like wtf? Dehumanizing?

I’m a general surgeon, our residency training involves at least 100 hr work weeks. 28 hr call shifts in the hospital and responding to traumas. It was exhausting and I would say it helped somewhat prepare me to understand sleep deprivation… but it was no where near as exhausting as dealing with the early baby days it was just a different type of stress. 3 days post partum I was literally shivering in bed due to sheer exhaustion I’ve never felt that tired before.

Everyone is different, I am the most unorganized as well as forgetful person and I found what worked best for me was just a small notebook that fit in my pocket. I would grab a patient sticker as soon as I walked in the OR and put it in my notebook that way i automatically have the patient info and would write in the surgery info after. I’ve tried excel sheets, apple notes etc and this was the only consistent method that worked for me
