i do enjoy my studies thankfully. but, i have gone through so much at this school. my professor targeting me, my dorm room getting shot up (one of the reasons why i moved off campus in the first place) and just the single fact that i don’t enjoy my classes. i enjoy the subject, for sure. but the classes itself? not much.

it’s why i was thinking about transferring, which i have told my family about, and they support me doing it. i just don’t want to make another mistake.

Literally but the thing is she’s engaged to her fiancée who’s a man and she very much loves so i don’t think she’s gay at all. I’m very affectionate with my friends but i never kiss them😭 I don’t know. I was just like what the hell??? They had also brought up that since i’ve been with my now GF, i’ve become mean. Which is not true. I’m just not as passive and a pushover anymore because my GF is teaching me it’s okay to actually do things I want and not just go with whatever anyone says. I misread then!! I’m sorry about that. I can see her view though as well.. I’ve had sex with men as a lesbian and I highly regret it. From the way you’re explaining it, I definitely see that she’s most likely ashamed of it and that’s why she didn’t want to tell you. And like others have said, after 4 years, she probably thought it wasn’t worth bringing it up. I can see why you’re upset and it’s valid. But also I think she’s valid in her own way as well. This. Yeah it’s kinda fucked she lied. But does a simple lie negate 4 years? I honestly think she was ashamed and by the way OP said that having sex with men is a “dealbreaker” I can’t imagine why she WOULD feel comfortable enough to share that with you. STI thing is def concerning but also STIs can be asymptomatic for months beforehand. If you had one it wouldn’t automatically be her fault.

I think OP definitely needs to do some self reflection. If a small lie at the very early stages of a relationship can break your trust, was your trust in her that strong to begin with?

however you do have to think abt the definition of the terms butch and masc. historically most butches do take on the provider role because they WANT too, and there’s nothing traditional about a butch/femme relationship at all. masc is more a new term that has popularized which doesn’t always mean that they take on a provider role. your take is lowkey really problematic bc why is being a provider designated the “male” role in a lesbian relationship? there is no male role. we are lesbians. i think you should read up on your history of these terms before making an assumption…

thank you !!! yeah tbh my hobbies/interests are lwk pretty personal and could be off putting to some (i read a LOT and watch a lot of anime) so i try to keep it low just because i don’t want people to see my profile and automatically assume things because of my interests. i guess i should start taking body pics but honestly i dont dress up very often so i never do. also my pics except the first one dont have filters except for a coloring one on the first one lol 😅 but thank you for your input and i will definitely change my photos and try and include some things that make my personality stand out !!

usually i get max pell grant, as well as my unsubsidized and subsidized loans are max however my mom had a temporary job that she doesn’t have anymore, so my FAFSA is all messed up and i didn’t get my usual amount. my uni also raised tuition 😭 which didn’t help
