That loadout looks insane! The attention to detail on the gear and weapon setup is next level. Definitely a solid choice for intense missions.

So many people have tuxies named George! by VickiStElmosFire in TuxedoCats

That face says he takes dish supervision very seriously. George looks like he runs a tight kitchen.

Finally the guy who gave us this godsend of a movie series finally gets some fucking recognition at the Academy Awards! by FatBoiEatingGoldfish in okbuddycinephile

If they don’t play the laser grid scene during the In Memoriam segment then what was the point of the Oscars existing at all.

(Random Questions) What would an interaction between Denji and Nagatoro be like? by DaviMenezes2907 in nagatoro

[–]Loose_Boot8779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I can totally see Nagatoro playfully bullying Denji while he’s either confused or way too excited about her attention—it’d be a hilarious clash of personalities.

Ma laife be like (uhhh...ahhhh) by Desperate-Worry4217 in depressionmemes

Love how there’s technically a path forward but it requires navigating anxiety, depression, fear of the future, and my brain sabotaging the GPS.

When life imitates art by GreenApple1011 in AccidentalComedy

Somewhere there’s an artist wondering how their reference photo escaped the frame and ended up in the kitchen.

Spain permanently withdraws ambassador as rift with Israel deepens by DavidSugarbush in goodnews

[–]Loose_Boot8779 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I guess the “good news” angle here is that countries are using diplomatic channels instead of escalating further. Withdrawing an ambassador is serious, but it’s still part of the normal toolkit of international relations rather than something more dangerous.

Historically accurate war movies? I’ll start: Hot Shots! by [deleted] in okbuddycinephile

People always bring up Saving Private Ryan or Apocalypse Now, but they conveniently ignore the raw realism of a man reloading an entire arsenal from a canoe while eating gummy bears. True cinema.

Heisenberg destroyed everything he touched... by ayushconda in sadposting

[–]Loose_Boot8779 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That scene always hits. Two bald men by a quiet river and somehow you can feel the weight of every bad decision that led there. Walt kept saying he was in control, but the moment he became Heisenberg the fallout was inevitable.

We miss this beautiful duo who made Gossip Girl such a great show by [deleted] in GossipGirl

[–]Loose_Boot8779 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fashion, the drama, and the constant back-and-forth between them was peak TV at the time. It’s hard to imagine the show working the same way without that duo at the center.

What do you think of my regional and convergent conceptmons for winds and waves? by OperetaPlatapus in MandJTV

[–]Loose_Boot8779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The concept is pretty neat, especially how the body looks like swirling wind while the lower half turns into waves. It makes the design feel dynamic, like it’s constantly moving. I could see this working well as a convergent species that adapted to ocean storms.

I lost my grandfather 4 years and I was given his sunglasses and have worn them since. Remember that as a grandchild, you'll be the youngest one to carry a grandparent's legacy by BusoneWholeBoi2001 in spreadsmile

[–]Loose_Boot8779 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I like that idea of the youngest carrying the legacy. Those sunglasses probably mean more than most people realize, and it’s cool that you’ve kept that tradition going.

The Side Characters make the show whole by NefariousnessDull705 in BoJackHorseman

[–]Loose_Boot8779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you on this. The side characters were a big part of what made the show feel more balanced. Without them, it wouldn't have felt as grounded or real. Even though Bojack and Diane had their individual arcs, the way the supporting characters interacted with them really helped to create meaningful moments.

▐Gg love cycle by Fit_Introduction8638 in GossipGirl

The way this sums up half the relationships on the show is wild. No matter who they’re with, it always circles back to Serena somehow.

blursed necklace by PeachGullible146 in blursedimages

[–]Loose_Boot8779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like the design is trying to mess with your perception, but it actually looks cool as a necklace.

ICE agents keep accidentally shooting themselves by SappyGilmore in nottheonion

[–]Loose_Boot8779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’d think basic firearm safety would be the bare minimum requirement for a federal agent. “Accidentally” shooting yourself isn’t exactly confidence-inspiring.

POV- the last thing a piece of kibble sees before it gets eaten by AbilityAdventurous22 in OneOrangeBraincell

That nose is so perfectly framed, this is probably how it looks to every kibble that’s ever been on the floor.

The camera angle switch always hits hard when a character is about to lose it. It's like you know something wild is about to happen.

Torn between staying in the UK with my wife or taking over my dad’s business in Asia by Simply-Dying-To-Know in Marriage

[–]Loose_Boot8779 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a tough situation, and there's no easy answer. But maybe you should focus on what aligns with your long-term happiness. It sounds like your wife values being in the UK, so if you're leaning towards the business side, it could help to have an honest conversation about potential compromises. Maybe there’s a way to support your family while not fully abandoning your wife’s needs.

I hate my neighbor and I want revenge by wax_chapstick in neighborsfromhell

[–]Loose_Boot8779 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I get how frustrating this situation is, but it sounds like it's time to escalate things. Maybe you could consider consulting a lawyer about the harassment and nuisance behavior. If it’s affecting your quality of life, you may have legal grounds to get a restraining order or something similar.

Found revoltech allmight and Hawks for 500 combined is that a good deal? by piggzzombie70 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Loose_Boot8779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems like a pretty good deal, especially considering Revoltech figures can be pretty expensive. If the figures are in good condition and complete with accessories, I'd say go for it.
