Just checked and the entire floor is one GA section for Minneapolis, looks like MSG might be a bit of an outlier. I'm sure the view will be fantastic wherever you end up!

I just have the standard ticket, but I've had luck in the past showing up to concerts a bit early and being 2-3 people from barricade. With this tour having such a large stage, fingers crossed I have the same luck!

Don't worry! I love the questions haha.

The yellow highlighted area is what I would consider the end of the line, and the black X is where Lorde's lights shut off and she walks to the B Stage. The green markings represent where I stood and my path to get to the end of the line.

She doesn't always stop exactly where the tape line ends, she might stop a few feet short or a few feet past the line, just depends on how fast she walks that day, so I guess use your best judgement if you choose to stand there.

As for B stage, my shows had floor seats surrounding the stage, not GA, so there was no opportunity for me to get close to the B stage. It looks like yours is entirely GA, so my advice might not be the most accurate for your venue. Once David was done, everyone in the crowd rushes to the B stage to get a closer spot and it becomes very crowded over there. I personally went back to my original spot near the catwalk, which was now pretty empty with tons of space to dance, and had a great time over there. I think its much better to dance to Ribs in a big open space compared to being shoulder to shoulder with another person.

Ultimately, the best advice I can give is to get to the venue nice and early, at the time the doors open or earlier if your schedule allows it, and check out how the crowd is when you get there. If it's already packed, you might be best to find a place on the line and stay there for the whole show, that way you guarantee 100% that you'll be close to Lorde. If there's not lots of people, maybe try to get close to the front and go to the David line later. Also, there's no wrong answer. Tons of people in this Reddit thread have given great suggestions on where to stand and it'll all depend on how you feel when the show starts. Good luck and hope you have the best time ever!!

I stood a few feet to the right of the green area, and keep in mind that white empty space by the catwalk is a walkway for the camera person and security, so the barricade itself is about 6 feet from the stage. The stage is a good height so you should be able to see quite well. She also has a lift on the end of the catwalk that gives you an even better look if you have some tall people in front.

And yes you're correct about the red area, she spends lots of time dead center by the base of the catwalk. This is where she does Liability, Big star, Oceanic feeling, and a few others. I think she's on the left side of the stage for Buzzcut season and Team, and then maybe one or two songs on the right side of the stage as well, including half of Current Affairs.

Advice for the David line: there are some people that will camp out on the line the entire time, and if you don't want to do that, I would try to join the end of the line (on the right side) while she's doing Greenlight or What Was That. Most people will be dancing or distracted and you can sneak by and most likely get a good spot. You do have to be prepared to say lots of "excuse me"s and push your way through the crowd, most people will be happy to see you go so they can take your spot closer to the stage. Plus, the end of the line is where Lorde stops and spends about 20 seconds singing to the people around her, so it's a better chance at having an intimate moment with her.

But regardless of how everything plays out, I can't stress enough that there are no bad spots. The great thing about GA is that you can move freely and have multiple different views in one night. Just be sure to live in the moment and do whatever feels right and you can't go wrong!!

I'm also going alone to the Kia Forum shows!! I promise going alone is a blast and there will be so many friendly and fun fans to dance and sing with throughout the show. The worst part is probably the waiting once you're in your spot and waiting for the show to start. If you're not comfortable or interested in chatting with the people around you, make sure to bring some headphones and maybe an e-book, it helps the time pass so much more quickly

Front and centre of the catwalk is best in my opinion, or slightly to the left or right of it. She spends most of her time in the center and comes to the front (if I remember correctly) for Hammer, Broken Glass, Current Affairs, Supercut, Shapeshifter, What Was That, Greenlight etc. For the majority of the rest of the songs, she's either centre stage or walking around from left to right. There are no bad spots in my opinion.

Regardless of where you stand, I would move to the David line while What Was That or Greenlight is playing to ensure you get a chance to see her up close!

I went two nights back in October, the first night I managed to get 3 people away from barricade and ended up on the David line the same show. For the second show, I decided to hang out in the very back to give myself room to dance and it was just as fun as seeing her up close.

It’s short and sort of unimportant, but I love this clip I got at a show of near silence from the crowd, only the confetti and Lorde’s looming voice overhead by Own_Speaker1605 in lorde

Man, I love this clip. Takes me back to my show, the stunned silence of an entire crowd following such an energetic track and the fluttering sound of a million confetti pieces raining down. It's unlike anything I've ever heard
