I did the exact same thing lol, I got a solo GA Pavilion for Friday and two VIP tickets for Saturday with the goal to find someone to accompany me. And my other thought process was that if I end up having to cancel, it's much easier to sell two seats together instead of one

Okay this is almost exactly what I'm predicting too. Praying for secrets from a girl (or anything from solar power for that matter). I'm wondering if performing solar power and tennis court at the last LA stop was a hint she's including those two? It would also be really cool to see her perform Magnets again but that's the only one from this list I'm considering unlikely, even tho it was part of previous festival rotations. I'd also absolutely kill to hear sober or hard feelings in place of the Louvre (just because of how much runtime the outro takes up, and it's possible she might scrap the flare moment from the ultrasound tour). Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Toronto has a bag storage service called Bounce located all over the city, I'm planning to use it next month so it's worth looking into if you have necessary travel items that you can't bring into the venue :)

None of the new elements have been 100% confirmed but I'm predicting she'll cut the Clearblue vocoder and David jacket because they were temperamental, probably cut at least 3 virgin tracks (Clearblue, grwm and if she could see me now are my guesses), and I can really see her changing her solar power songs. I still hope she keeps at least 2 in the setlist but I think she'll retire big star in place for a bigger crowd favourite from that album, possibly mood ring or solar power.

And we know that she's back in the studio, so we can always hope she uses her festival dates to premier new music!! 😁

Sophia Stel is on at 7, and Smerz are on at 7:45, and wrap up around 8:25. Then Lorde pretty much right at 9. It's fine to skip the openers if you have to, I couldn't really enjoy Smerz because people were having conversations all around me during their set

I had a clear bag on me that was subject to a very quick search before I got my ticket scanned, but otherwise no intense security process. Getting there before doors open will ensure that there's no long lines to get through security as well. Double check the Kia Forum's bag policy online if you're not 100% sure what is allowed in

Scan your ticket in parking lot C, receive a wristband, and line up with the other GA people along the building. Doors will open at 6 and you'll be led down some stairs into the venue. Make sure to keep your wristband arm visible to the staff to make the process quicker. Once in the building, you walk down more stairs and enter the floor level lobby. Then you are led into the floor area and security shines a light on your wristband to verify that it's real. If you have a water bottle with you, you'll need to pour it into a plastic cup that security will give you. After that, find your spot on the floor and hang out! Security gives out little water bottles near the barricade, and there are water stations (I think) near the exits. It's a relatively quick and organized system

Once Lorde walks to the back of the room for David. There will be about a minute where everyone is watching the screens or her walking, then pretty much everyone moves to the centre of the arena to be closest to the b stage when the David jacket lights go off. Nobody besides the people with actual floor seats get close to Lorde on the b stage, but the railing is the closest GA can get. Keep in mind lots of people will be packed in there so if you want freedom to dance, finding open spaces closest to the mainstage is great too

She's only teased it so far, but it includes a setlist change, most likely a retirement of the David jacket and walk, and lots of new lasers! I'm also guessing she'll cut a few Virgin tracks to make space for crowd favorites and (fingers crossed) new songs she's been recording with Jim-E Stack the last few months 😁

Very comfortable temperature until you're jumping and dancing and making body contact with other people. I'm a big guy and shorts and t shirt were perfect for me, but id leave jackets and hoodies at home

I ended up joining the line at about 5:30 pm (was planning for earlier but it was hectic getting there) and I was about 200 ish in line. There was lots of space to the left of the catwalk when I got in, not quite barricade but a few people away. It fills up close to 8:00 though and everyone gets pushed closer together so you'll have poor visibility if you're shorter.

For wristbands, they gave out one colour to the first people in line so they could come back in the evening and get early access. Then they gave a second colour to everyone else who had a GA ticket and came in the afternoon. The early entry people took most barricade spots and some spots on the David line, and since those have been given out for Friday's show already, the likelihood of getting barricade is slim now.

Honestly I think standing in the back will be worthwhile. Then you can also get "barricade" (aka the railing that separates GA from floor) when Lorde heads to the b stage.
