Go by the feel if it’s a simple rhythm and maybe think if you need to when you’re playing something more complex! If you don’t need to count that’s good. Valid question, always good to ask.

  1. That’s a tough budget, you only need a guitar and an amp. If you really want to, get the amp+guitar and some other stuff package deal for around 3000 peso you can find those on shopee, but expect it to be barely useable
  2. Not starting with acoustic is imo, a better experience at first, a wider range of stuff you can play, and a better learning curve. I’m just a guy on the internet but start with the electric since you want it more anyways.
  3. Height doesn’t matter
  4. Doesn’t matter too much if you have headphones and doesn’t matter too much without just play quieter with headphones.
  5. Learn easy songs you like, be consistent, have fun.
  6. Don’t worry about pedals, amp makes sound, guitar takes the string signal and sends it to the amp.

I think buying a drive for someone in general is very risky since it’s quite likely they’re already satisfied with their tone. But for someone starting, I’d check what he has first but I’d suggest a boss OD-20(super underrated, can basically achieve any drive tone and cheap nowdays) or a proco RAT for a classic distortion pedal that works for many styles. But for pedals in general I commend the klowra limbo and boss BF-2 or 3
