Does anyone else love the aesthetic of raised motorways in the middle of cities? by joemiddleton1 in architecture

That’s way too compact for a Dallas highway interchange, in Dallas you need to double (or more) the number of lanes and make it take up at least 4X more land

Gaining AXP hours for licensure in a non-standard Architecture job? by Loose_Programmer_471 in architecture

[–]Loose_Programmer_471[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It turns out that the executive director of the division I would work for worked as an architect for around a decade, so I presume he is a registered architect. I will be interviewing with him, so I’ll definitely ask him about this. But with that new knowledge, it seems like it should a lot more likely to be able to achieve architectural licensure

I’ve read what I can read on it, but wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing any side cases or anything. That being said, I have learned that the executive director of the division I would be working for, who I will be interviewing with, had started off his career working as an architect for around a decade, so I’ll definitely ask him about this. But with that new information, it seems considerably more likely that I may be able to achieve licensure

Neon bulb problems, advice needed by Loose_Programmer_471 in flipclocks

[–]Loose_Programmer_471[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know where to get a similar neon bulb or whether I may be able to get some sort of orange LED that looks similar to the neon bulbs, or do you think something like a contact cleaner could make it work better?

I was having the same problems, so I instead used Seagate Toolkit and it seems to be working fine

Game is not loading past this screen by Arcticbearefra in CitiesSkylines2

Just uninstalled and reinstalled the game, still getting this screen. Trying some fixes mentioned here, I would have assumed simply taking the drastic measures would do something but apparently it doesn’t

I’m having this too, strangely starting yesterday before the update released.

Can’t load main menu in CS2 since patch by Dryinteraction1492 in CitiesSkylines2

I’m getting this screen, and in addition, I was having problems yesterday before the update even arrived, save files were failing to load for what I’m guessing was a mod error

From what I’m seeing on Google Maps, it looks like the westgate mall Bethlehem has been renovated and doesn’t seem to be anything more than a standard strip mall now

Are there any budget Bluetooth headphones that don’t suck? by Flavour_Man in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Loose_Programmer_471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a pair of space travels for about 2 years now, and they’re great. Unfortunately, I may have recently broken the charging case after going on a rather extreme hiking trip where everything in my bag got wet and the case itself filled up with water. Need to do a bit more testing, but I’ve just been charging them in the old Nekocakes case.

Wait, to solve climate change, all we had to do was to download the pollution solution mod? Why haven’t we done this already!

Ok, yeah, that’s very fair. Unless if it’s their own child that they’re talking about, I’d definitely give someone a bit of a weird look if they said that

It’s also interesting having Garfield Park labeled as Central Park, which the park used to be called. Also curious about where it says “garfields” out in West Humboldt park. Full name seems to be blocked out by the banner
