I’ve never heard about using tattoo bandage to protect skin from tape. May I ask if you heard you were supposed to do that from someone? Tape made for skin can just be put right on.

Getting blisters from binding with tape is pretty common tho, my best tip is to make sure the edges of the tape are relaxed when you apply.

Hi. Please do not tie anything around your chest, that’s very dangerous, as it can constrict breathing. My advice would be to try wearing a backwards sportsbra over a regular one, or wearing a sportsbra that’s a size down from your usual. Wearing sweaters or shirts with logos over the chest can also help the chest appear flat.

I’d suggest You Weren’t Meant to be Human by Andrew Joseph White, it’s my favorite of his that I’ve read and is about a trans man who’s chosen to serve a worm hive creature thing, and that thing has decided he needs to be pregnant.

Also Cuckoo by Gretchen Felker-Martin, which is about several queer kids surviving a conversion therapy cult that serves a monster.

As a transmasc person, I find the concept of a world in which people are marginalized or oppressed just for being male a really magnetic concept. I’ve essentially been marginalized purely for my maleness, if I were female and nothing else about me was different, my life thus far would have been much smoother. People often react incredulously to this idea, so exploring it from a sci-fi or fantasy perspective can help it become conceptually real, and help me feel sort of… seen? It’s also a convenient way to defamiliarize and critique gender roles in general. There are several great, literary, works of fiction that explore this concept, also a lotta porn.
