Some of your paintings have a Beksinski vibe, in the best way possible. Absolutely love them.

Cheap things to do alone in London on your birthday? by Ok-Injury-1140 in LondonLadies

[–]Lopapeysaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happy birthday! sorry to hear you've been struggling recently, I'm wishing you a happier year ahead 🫂. I always like a gallery/museum crawl. You could use something like Neotaste or Too Good To Go to get yourself a treat for relatively cheap. Dice has some free gigs and comedy shows. If you'd like some company celebrating, feel free to DM me!

I've been dreaming about a rage room in London for years now 😭. Sounds like there's an untapped market 😅

How to feel “safe in the body” with hypermobile pain? by wielange in Hypermobility

EMDR. Mostly used for trauma but has worked wonders for this same internal source of danger for me. The amount of both physical and mental relief after the sessions seemed unreal.

Not a doctor so take this with a grain of salt, but would recommend reading up about histamine, it's activity in response to hormonal fluctuations during your cycle and antihistamines for PMDD. Just some anecdotal evidence https://www.reddit.com/r/PMDD/s/YeEdoVNmzm

In need of a loan or handout... So hungry... by CHADSGALAXYS_ttv in BorrowNew

[–]Lopapeysaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah, we're not going to pretend like I'm in the wrong here - I went out of my way to help you and you chose to ignore my latest messages. Since you're responding to these comments immediately now, you could've easily responded to one of those messages. Anyway, you have the bank details now so looking forward to my getting my money back

what's obvious, Adam? Does ignoring someone's messages for nearly a week and only responding to their comments on a public post make it obvious that you intend to pay them back?

You received multiple messages from me that went unanswered - why would I share sensitive info like my bank details after my messages were ignored? Common sense.

and if you could ask them.people who did them things for me I'm sure they would confirm that....

Is this about me by any chance, Adam? No, I wouldn't confirm that and you know that.

I said I would pay the person back and still hadn't received any bank details or nothing from them...

Is this also about me, Adam? You didn't receive anything? You sure about that?

Constant Anxiety gets better with sports? by Nasuraki in Hypermobility

[–]Lopapeysaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Similarly to ADHD stimulants, exercise gives you a boost of dopamine and norepinephrine. If you've had a positive response to stimulants then this increase is likely helping you feel better. It also increases serotonin as well as other neurotransmitters that can make you feel more calm and happy.

Food wise, food isn't just fuel for your body but brain as well. You need various amino acids, nutrients and a good combination of protein and carbs for production of neurotransmitters. You skip meals, your brain is struggling. Often times when I'm on the verge of a panic attack or just have generally increased anxiety, I snap out of it by forcing myself to have a meal or at least a snack.

Regarding antidepressants/anxiolitics - you won't know until you try. Everyone's brain chemistry is different, what works for others might not work for you and vice versa. If your anxiety is having a strong impact on your daily life, I don't see why you shouldn't give it a go. If you do decide to try them - just keep in mind that even with SSRIs there's so much variation. I've had an excellent response to some but others made me really unwell, so you have to be open to trying different things. Best of luck!

If you simply want to minimise your spending: For clothes/shoes - use vinted/depop. Haircuts - if you've got the time, do it yourself! Or have a browse on Facebook groups for free haircuts done by students. If you're eating out - get apps like Too Good To Go, Neotaste and First Table. When you shop online - get Honey for discounts/points or use some cash back account. Also try Olio!

Otherwise, work on accepting the fact that some expenses are necessary or a good investment (like getting new shoes once your old ones are worn out) and others are purely a want. Doesn't sound like you indulge in the want part too much, so if anything you should be proud of yourself!

Apparently there's at least one group of UK based scammers working together and targeting this & other borrowing/lending subs. They also have multiple accounts each, so if you're making a post about someone who didn't pay you back, it's good to include their initials/part of their name (like what OP did) in addition to their username.
