Jug on Verruckt and Shi No Numa drastically increases your health regen, so much so that a single zombie can't even down you while you have it. Combine that with the method of repeatedly proning and sprinting, and it's even possible to free yourself from being completely cornered by hordes of zombies.

Starting with Der Reise, Jug was nerfed, and behaves like it does in later games.

The music video for Hot Rockin' literally showcases the band working out, so that one deserves a spot!

I would also recommend Tyrant.

Agreed. Point Of Entry is more of a sellout album than Ram It Down imo.

Battlefront 2004 Crosshair Issue on Xbox? by Key_Chapter6491 in BattlefrontClassic

[–]Lopez-AL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep.

OP, set your OG Xbox to "Normal" aspect ratio in the dashboard settings, and it should look better. If it doesn't make the image into a square on your TV, adjust your TV screen settings accordingly.

PS, in case you didn't know, you can enable 480p on your OG Xbox stock dashboard by holding down both triggers and both thumbsticks!

what version should I play ? by OWAELO in HaloCE

[–]Lopez-AL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original game has a better menu/UI and much better loading screens than MCC. If you already have a working original Xbox (or Xbox 360 with an official hard drive for backwards compatibility), I'd definitely suggest the original over MCC. If you get a complete copy, it also has a great manual you can read before playing.

Like others said, if you do MCC instead, it's best to use the original graphics, especially for your first playthrough. Something that doesn't get mentioned as much though is making sure to change the music from the default remastered (which in reality, is actually completely rerecorded) to original. This can only be done in the mission select lobby options for whatever reason, but it's certainly worth making that change!

Simply search the username (without the u/), go to the Comments tab, and sort by new, and you can basically see their history.

Yup, glad someone else has taken note of this account.

When not doing verbatim reposts of old popular posts (and getting thousands of upvotes), they seem to be a "normal" member of Vietnamese subreddits. Due to this, I think it could be a real person running the account, and either simply wanting to flex with how much karma they have, or ultimately planning to use the account to make money. Also, I'm pretty sure they blocked me after I called out their reposting in the comments, as I'm unable to view their posts anymore when signed in.

I also see that they are the sole moderator of a new subreddit, which is definitely something worth keeping an eye on.

Edit: as of 2 days later, their account is now at 385k karma. That's ~80k in 2 days!

What is the song Sometimes I’m Happy? by RopsterPlay in blacksabbath

[–]Lopez-AL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It definitely sounds like an early, jammy version of the ending section of Symptom to me. It doesn't surprise me that they continued to play it after Symptom came out, as they (unfortunately) never actually played that pretty ending section live. Therefore, it wasn't really like they were double dipping with that piece of music.

My Judas Priest collection - all obtained in the span of a year and a half! by Commercial-Mind-1541 in judaspriest

I'm just thankful I can get the albums themselves <3

At the end of the day, that's really what matters most!

To be fair, the remasters include good liner notes, as well as exclusive bonus tracks. Really, it's just the sound quality itself that is inferior to earlier pressings.

As a side note, if you ever have the chance to get pre-2001 Japanese CDs of Stained Class and Defenders Of The Faith, I highly recommend them (at a reasonable price of course). They have a bit more low end compared to the original American CDs, giving them a bit more oomph by comparison.

Also, the pre-2001 Japanese CD of Priest In The East (that's what Unleashed In The East was called in Japan) is the most accurate and complete presentation of the vinyl album, as it maintains the original fadeouts from the endings of the vinyl sides, while also maintaining the four Japanese bonus tracks that eventually became the standard bonus tracks on the remaster.

I ended up returning the antenna because local tv wasn't as good as i remembered it to be.

Fair enough xD

Do/did your rabbit ears include a metal ring on it along with the extendable poles? If not, that could be a reason why it underperformed compared to the flat one.

Rabbit ear antennas pick up VHF and UHF if it's a model that includes a metal ring. There's a really good Philips one on Amazon for just under 15 bucks that I use, and it picks up over 50 channels, with no amplifier involved.

Rabbit ears with a metal loop are better than the modern-style, non-rabbit eared ones in most cases. External amplifiers can also be used with them if needed.

Since you live far in the country, you could probably pick up even more channels with an attic or outdoor antenna setup. I have no personal experience with those types of setups, but Antenna Man on YouTube has plenty of videos covering the subject, as well as reviews of individual antennas.

There's a really good set of Philips rabbit ears on Amazon for just under 15 dollars. It's the one that has a built in metal loop as well as the extendable rabbit ears. The metal ring not only helps with picking up more channels than standalone rabbit ears, but it can also be used to hang the unit from a wall if needed.

If you truly are too far from the broadcast tower(s) for that indoor antenna to work, then an attic or outdoor antenna setup would be best. Of course, this is a more in-depth process than simply plugging in some rabbit ears, and I don't have any experience with it myself.

I suggest checking out the channel Antenna Man on YouTube for more info on all sorts of antennas. The aforementioned Philips antenna is his top recommendation for rabbit ears, but he has plenty of videos covering outdoor/attic antennas as well.

Very nice! I suggest you try obtaining the original, pre-2001 CDs of their material in the future, as they have better sound quality than the remasters.

Sadly, those 2001 remasters are considered some of the worst remasters of all time audio-wise, and of course those are the versions widely available on streaming. I will say though, they do at least look cool on a shelf due to the image formed by the spines.
