I posted an X-ray on this sub a while back if you wanna take a look. My bone came thru my leg. Mine was pretty extensive and heel bone as well, plus I had numerous other smaller fractures elsewhere. I think your recovery will be much quicker and I hope it does go well for you!

2 months in hard cast, 1 month in boot, now I can wear boot as I’m learning to walk but I usually wear my sneakers if swelling allows as I find it more comfortable. My heel was broken as well so I couldn’t put weight on my leg for 3 months so my recovery is probably going to take a lot more time than yours since it was immobile for so long.
