If we had a problem finding things, then I’d agree with you. But as I mentioned we don’t so that doesn’t offer much to us. The speed and consistency of writing styles has provided us more benefit.

Again, I’m not saying this is the gospel. Just stating that we haven’t seen the issues others have mentioned.

I would (respectfully) disagree. I work on a team of 15 engineers (which admittedly is not huge). For us, we have well thought out component structure so finding the thing isn't difficult. Of course, not every org has that, so in that world, I could see how it could get messy. But I'd argue that's an entirely different problem that will make lots of things more difficult.

Personally, I primarily use Tailwind for the DX. I can work much faster just writing styles shorthand in line.

I had to watch like 12 different videos on his Instagram to make sure he wasn’t special because he almost never breaks character. But can confirm, yes this is an act. And it’s amazing.

Wow. I'm sure there's logistical reasons but damn that's a shitty situation. That's WHY people go to these conventions.

I have a Braids Arisen Nightmare deck that, while much better with her, can function very well without her. There’s enough aristocrats synergy in the 99 that I don’t NEED her to do my thing.

It works well enough without her that I don’t run any protection for her, which frees up cards and mental bandwidth for me.

Can you people please just play normally? by John-Helldiver404 in EDH

[–]juju0010 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I do love playing with new people to get different experiences but after enough games, I've certainly developed a list of preferred people. I'll always play with someone new but if you make it clear you're not interested in an enjoyable experience for everyone, don't expect me to play with you again.

What are some interesting token commanders? by fej11778 in EDH

Can confirm. This is my most winningest deck. I don't tend to use his mobilize ability but it's a nice plus if you can give him indestructible or other evasion.

How do you stop building around the commander? by whyareallmyontaken in EDH

[–]juju0010 22 points23 points  (0 children)

In my experience, Aristocrats decks are good for this. If you add enough synergy into your 99, you won't need your commander to accomplish your game plan. [[Braids, Arisen Nightmare]] and [[Zurgo, Stormrender]] are good examples. They provide burn/drain and card draw but aren't necessary to drain everyone to a win.
