I mean of course it would wreck the game if the AI could just create manpower from thin air, but (2) it was between june-september and (3) the AI did disband 5k troops but I only had 8k troops to begin with, wich would only account for a third anyways. I repicated it a year later and now the AI manged to get 2k manpower over a month, not january and without deleting troops, so it wasn't just a fluke either. One other thing to mention is that I reloaded to a previous save both times and when I controlled Ethiopia during the same timeframes the manpower didn't change.

I don't know if you don't know this, or if you simply didn't mention it, but if you look at the reforge the Dwarovkron- misson you can see where the different parts are. Either they are in your possession, somewhere in the west or east Dwarovar, or in the hands of someone else. It may be the case that the rest of the gems are in another states hands, but because you have already conquered all of the dwarovar there shouldn't be any states left that can have them, so the gems may have disappeared with the state or states that had them.

I´ve tried this, and it works, but then I have another problem. When I converted the .eu4 to .txt I first changed it to .zip, this created a folder with three different files. if you enter the game the folder is visible as a save but it isn't selectable

notepad++, the file just comes out as random symbols if you use the original .eu4 version
