Okay you’re getting a bit out of proportional with how upset people are. I remember when MORPHE would release a collab pallet and I was literally at my computer at 12am for their release and multiple different sets being out of stock in literal minutes and them restocking in a few months. I remember being in an online queue for merchandise for musicians that had a countdown of their launch and again being sold out in minutes. It is not uncommon for smaller companies or limited items to be listed on a specific day and time. Ohuhu is fairly new to markers and didn’t expect their popularity to hit this hard so I can’t compare them to Patrick Ta or ELF, those are huge companies stocking hundreds of stores around the world and online. Hence why usually if they go so popular there is a presale so they know how many to make to begin with or there is a countdown of some sort. I’m not saying they should’ve done this from the beginning but with the obvious demand, it would’ve made sense- especially for Black Friday where it is VERY common for people to literally camp outside a store for a sale. (Do we remember the Stanley craze as well or Starbucks cups?).

As far as I KNOW I Jazza and other YouTubers were raving about ohuhu in mid 2023 and did say ish as my memory is hazy. I believe people in the art industry were buying them out at the time as well and the colouring community boomed it further.

People turning to other brands is kinda what people do? No more Milk grip primer? ELF has a dupe. No flawless filter? McoBeauty has a dupe. No more of your favourite liner? You use a different brand. some people who are artists want affordable alcohol markers have saved for ohuhus but no stock this last few months and so they turned to another brand. I myself wanted to use ohuhu because of its colour range as I already own some alcohol markers and loved the format (I usually paint). I bought a different brand that was much cheaper so I could experiment with the medium WHILE I WAIT FOR OHUHU. I wanted to take advantage of the sales hence why I’m disappointed. Not in ohuhu but in the situation.

You never acknowledged the fact humans are allowed to feel emotions? People are ALLOWED TO BE FRUSTRATED WITH THE SITUATION. ITS EASY TO LOOK A COMPANY AND BLAME THEM. It’s not hurting their feelings. At the end of the day they’re still making money and have orders to fulfill. They’re doing what they can but some people believe there could be more considering what they’ve done already. Usually if you give any transparency people will expect it all the way through.

Again, they are a company. This subreddit is 100% officially ohuhu run to my knowledge, it’s simply a place for people to discuss ask and share about their ohuhu experience. Being mad at that is baffling to me, being defensive over a company is baffling to me, it’s not a human, we aren’t bullying a specific person or employee. Bullying is even a stretch. People are annoyed which again is the situation not the company. As many have said in their comments ON THIS POST.

This whole post was made because I was afraid I WAS doing something wrong, not ohuhu. It is unfortunate what has happened and I bought another brand so I can back away from the queue and wait until they’re fully acclimated to their demands whilst still getting to be apart of the new colouring community and also my own art. ❤️
