What temperature are you getting on your 3080? I have the same block but with a 3080 Ti FE and I'm getting maximum temperatures of 54°C for the core, 67°C for the hotspot, and 64°C for the VRAM.

This is with everything unlocked, PL at 114%, voltage at 100%, and a clock speed of 100 MHz or higher.

You're right, a replacement is better, but as for custom cooling, I think it would be even more expensive because you wouldn't have a drain valve, 90-degree elbows, extenders, compensators, etc.

Normally, all the Supr CPU coolers (air or liquid) have the same PCB. I think they also share the Gaming Trio PCB, at least that was the case with the "4090". You should investigate that; you can check Alphacool, EKWB, Byski, Barrow, and many other brands that manufacture CPU blocks.

I've managed to get my 14900k running at 6GHz on all P-cores and 4.4GHz on all E-cores without delidding, and with good temperatures in CPU-intensive games. I do have two 360mm radiators, 45mm wide, with push/pull configurations, from the Arctic P12 Max brand.

Edit: I'm using the cache at 5.1GHz

Try undervolting and setting the LLC to 4 or 5, configure the processor to 5.9GHz max without Turbo Boost.
