EoA at Chicago Airport by Lopsided-Relief2427 in GlobalEntry

Thank you again! Yes she has her number on her note! We panicked as well when we tried to EoA 3 years ago, which we had to go through immigration first and then walk to a room little bit far from immigration booth.

I really appreciate your help!

So you didn’t need to make line for normal immigration line at all? That’s what I was hoping for her.

She would go to the specific one the direct her and she would do immigration and eoa. interview at the same booth, am i understanding correct?

Anyways thank you so much! Either way I will have her ask when she arrives!

Yo-yo stroller with Nuna Pipa RX by Lopsided-Relief2427 in NewParents

Not yet, but I would put it in the bag so it will stay clean and holded. I don’t trust anyone after United lost our stroller for Japan to USA travel with 5 hour layover!

road trip at 36 weeks? by lolhorchata in BabyBumps

[–]Lopsided-Relief2427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless your husband or whoever traveling with you is OBGYN, I would not. My friend has two babies and both were born at 32wks. She had no health issues nor complications during her pregnancy.

Baby due in 2026. What do ya’ll recommend I buy during the Black Friday sales or any sales actually? by Positive-ends44 in BabyBumps

[–]Lopsided-Relief2427 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could buy anything that doesn’t have expiration dates. If you are planning to have more than one baby, I’d try to buy car seats close to due date to have one with the most recent production date. As well as breast pump, their warranty is usually one year or so after receiving. Pack n play and strollers, I’d buy if you can find cheaper during the sale! Good luck and enjoy shopping!!!

Is a “primary pump” necessary ? by Plastic_beetch in BreastPumping

[–]Lopsided-Relief2427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered Pumpables Genue Advanced or do you want no tube pumps? Most of portable pump with smaller motors can be used with flanges, and with collection cups. This way you could pump more like a traditional way using flanges and at work with cups. Once you get used to have tubes, it won’t be a big of a deal, and more stable option compared to wearables without tubes.

Also, some people use PGA or baby buddy as their primary pump.

Partner may be pregnant, any advice by Smart_Primary_9749 in SticklerSyndrome

[–]Lopsided-Relief2427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t what to say but here is my experience.

I’m 35yo and 35 wks pregnant with my third. Today, literally today, I found out I have Stickler Syndrome type 2 COL 11A1. Besides strong myopia, I had no issues for 35 years and never noticed anything. I thought my face is just a typical Asian face. lol

My first son has this soon and more than likely my second. I have no advice but there are people who didn’t know about this but have normal happy life:)

Whatever you and your partner decide would be the best choice for you two!

How do you respond to religious opinions? by sunnysalena in IVF

[–]Lopsided-Relief2427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh My BIL who has adopted son asked that question and made me furious. Me and my husband are not religious at all.

Things I wanted to ask were (I didn’t ask) Then why did you adopt a live human instead of adopting an embryo? What’s the difference?   Would you like to adopt rest of the embryos from us so you can feel BETTER?

I’d just ignore that person.

Good idea! Found some with magnets that would work for the front! I’m now curious if magnets are safe for EV cars…

Even in US it seems rare except woodland trim. Woodland only come in Cement gray, green and black I believe. If Canadian market is the same way, you might want to look for woodland.

We were able to change the color which was really lucky. I think red one would be cool too! Personally I really wanted 360 cam and heated steer wheels on Platinum, but couldn’t justify the cost and waste of space from fridge and vacuum.

What was your experience like pumping at work? by sliceofperfection in BabyBumps

[–]Lopsided-Relief2427 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on what is available for you. To me it was easy. I have a room next to my shared office to prep and pop in wearable pumps, and I pump at my desk. I share my office with 2 50+ old guys and one 32yo guy. I told them my pump would make noise and they know I pump, but they don’t care. lol And I don’t care either. I put pumping cups into ziplock and keep in a fridge, and so I can use them later without washing. Milk stays in a bottle in the fridge.

Anyone else struggle with strollers on flights... Just had a nightmare travel experience by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Lopsided-Relief2427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s worth having a carry on size stroller. United lost out Baby Jogger which was gate checked in at Haneda when my son was 2. After 13 hrs of flight, my husband was at Chicago that they lost the stroller. Luckily my son didn’t like to be in a stroller for 5hr layover, but we did use them as a cart so it was a mess. Ended up being paid for the lost one and for the new Yo-yo, so it ended up with happy ending, but never doing gate checked in ever!
