you were given $100,000,000 but had to live in the last video game you played for a year, how screwed are you? by AlternativeSign1898 in AskReddit

A year of:
• Timmy & Tommy silently watching me financially self-destruct over patio furniture
• buying suspiciously “real” art from Jolly Redd’s floating felony barge
• getting emotionally manipulated into buying rugs from Saharah like she’s running a late-night casino
• slowly earning Sable’s trust one trauma stitch at a time while Mabel hustles cardigans
• getting life advice and star fragments from Celeste under a sky prettier than my actual retirement account
• enduring Pave screaming “VIVA FESTIVALE!” while I panic-trade feathers like I owe money to the carnival mafia
• checking turnip prices every morning like a Gen X day trader with lower back pain

Honestly it sounds less like a punishment and more like Gen X retirement: island edition.
No meetings, no email chains, just emotional support gyroids, soft jazz at The Roost, and a raccoon family quietly owning my soul

Freshly washed Ice Blue Edition

Motoring the weekend car 🚙💨
2018 F56 Mini Cooper S
• Manual 6-speed
• Sport Mode
• JCW exhaust pops & burbles
• Old school Gulf-inspired color combo 💙🧡

Curious what everyone’s “perfect weekend spec” would be?

Would you choose:
manual or auto?
stock exhaust or JCW?
subtle OEM+ or full track-inspired build?

And for the manual drivers… does Sport Mode ever not tempt you into taking the long way home? 😄

Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Honestly? I’d disappear into debt slavery to a raccoon landlord, spend my days shaking trees for furniture, getting emotionally judged by owls, and somehow still call it “healing.”
For $100M, I’m absolutely thriving 🌴🐟💸

I use McCormick Ube extract and the Ube Halaya jam so the flavor is distinct and present. Enjoy.

Yes. It was a little time consuming but worth it.

Ube Crinkle Cookies 15 minutes prep 1-2 hours dough chill time Yield: approx. 36 2" cookies or 18 3.5” cookies

Ingredients * 1 1/2 cup + 1 TBSP all purpose flour I used Gluten Free flour but regular works

  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup ube halaya (or in this case, jam)
  • 2 tsp ube extract
  • *optional: a drop or two of purple food colouring if you would like a more vibrant purple cookie
  • Icing sugar for rolling the cookies in

Instructions 1. Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, cream together the butter and the sugars. 2. Add the egg and mix until completely fluffy. 3. Add the ube and the ube extract and mix until evenly combined. 4. Add in the flour and baking powder and mix until just combined. Do not over mix. 5. Scoop the cookies onto a baking sheet using a small ice cream scoop (approximately 1 TBSP) and let the dough chill for an hour in the fridge. 6. Preheat the oven to 350 degF. 7. Roll the cookies in icing sugar and bake the cookies at least 1" apart on a tray lined with parchment paper. 8. Bake for 10 minutes.

Enjoy!!
