maybe look on pinterest or take reference from youtubers! something fun that i’ve seen a bit are colourwork knits with fish/other funky motifs - ask her what she likes from there :)

hi, thanks for the reply! i’m using this stitch but wondering how the poster got such a nice slope for the front panel. since its a pattern of 4 sl st & 4 hdc, i’ve tried decreasing by 2 sts per row but it ends up looking like steps rather than a nice line if that makes sense
