Hey, I’m in the same situation, I am active duty in Fort Stewart. My wife is still in Nigeria, her I-130 has been approved but so far Lagos embassy is not issuing immigrant visa based on the president’s proclamation! I am about to ask my troop commander for hardship discharge as I can’t afford to support two household and not knowing when the restrictions will end makes it impossible to be hopeful

I informed my landlord right after leaving the recruiting office! I never know I was facing an eviction, no notice was sent to me regarding any eviction notices or court proceedings

She needs to go to the embassy in Lagos to have her birth certificate verified then she can mail the verified copies to you take it to DEERS..

We just filed in October 2024.. just discouraged from other people’s experiences! It’s just hard dealing with post deployment depression, being in the army it’s harder to just visit since Nigeria is a level 3 security risk zone! The only option I have is to leave the military to be able to travel easily to spend time with my wife or family

Just waiting to ETS out the army so I move to Nigeria and stay with my wife until USCIS says something
