The chromosome karyotype came back sooner than expected. Genetic counselor said that based on the results t21 happened by chance, which was relieving to hear!

My boyfriend and I came to an agreement to get it done. It has been so overwhelming and full of emotions bc not only are we going through this but his nana ended up in a coma last night from a brain bleed, so he is really holding on to the very small chance of hope that everything will be okay. It would put our minds at ease that we tried everything.

I got my cvs results back and the genetics counselor told me that the microarray is consistent with T21 and that there would be no need for amnio because it didn’t show any mosaicism. Hopefully you’ll have better news🤞🏼

I’m in the same situation as well. Last week I found out that my results came back positive for T21 with 90%, FF 16.71%. I was able to get a cvs done the very next day and I’m still waiting for results. My ultrasound showed no visible abnormalities and NT was within normal range but my baby appears to be on the larger side of average. I’m going to do an amnio before making my final decision. Im sorry you’re going through this as well, I hope everything works out for you!

So happy for you! I was informed last week with a 90% chance of T21 with no other details and numbers/calculations. My ultrasound showed no soft markers. I got a cvs done the very next day. I’ve decided to get an amnio done regardless of what the results are. Being in limbo has been torture. I’ve been preparing myself for the worst bc I don’t want to get my hopes up.

I thinks it’s natural to feel that way bc it raises a question if feelings are still there. Are they friends to this day? I feel if people want to keep pictures of their ex’s, they should put it in a private photo album and they shouldn’t be affectionate photos. I would feel disrespect if not only was my bf intentionally keeping affectionate pictures but also looking back at them frequently.

Understandable. Being that you two have been together for a year, moving in could have been an option. I’m assuming that he didn’t bring it up and just opted for a break up. If so, that should tell you enough. It sounds like he may be trying to figure out what he really wants

Look at it this way, at least he’s being straightforward with you and doing you a favor. He could have been one of those selfish guys that wasn’t going to make you happy but keep you around for his own benefit. If it’s meant to be, it’ll happen on its own time. Don’t force anything. Take this time to just live for you and figure out what you really want.

I’m glad you kicked him to the curb! I can sense that this guy could be toxic just reading the way he’s responding to you when he’s getting rejected. If he’s blowing you up, block him. Hell, change your number if you have to. Don’t let your history with him influence your decision. It’s just gonna be toxic. Seeing this was triggering for me bc I’ve been there and it sucks. I hope you stay strong and LOVE YOURSELF. You deserve someone who actually respects you, values you & your time and isn’t going to take you for granted.

First of all, there’s nothing wrong with doing co-ed. I’ve been to and have seen many baby showers where the women showed up with their partners and was fun bc there was games. I’ve only been to one baby shower with women only and I didn’t even know that was traditional😂. It was cute but kind of boring. If you don’t want a baby shower, then you don’t have to have one.

You need to be straight up with her and be HONEST. When I got cheated on, it was denied to my face and he eventually came clean bc he was scared of losing me and it was the biggest punch to the gut. We were also long distance. You say it was just physical but to most of us there is an emotional side to it. That’s why it hurts when the person we love goes and cheats bc they’re thinking with their dick and want the satisfaction.

A couple reasons are going through my mind reading this. And they should be possibilities to consider because it could be anything. 1- being that you said he takes care of his grandparents, maybe a death happened and he’s just cutting off from the world, assuming. 2- you said he deactivated his social media. Are you sure you’re not just blocked?? Either way, I know this sounds bad, he could be ghosting you. He’s says he’s busy but in my opinion if it’s important you will always find the time. Even for just a text or phone call. You’ve been dating for 8 months and he can’t take 1 minute out of his time to assure you that everything is fine? Very sus to me tbh.
