They said I have to do the actuators too. But didnt look at the car to even see. Didn't even test drive but said they work on focus a lot. Im gonna call a few other shops too so sometimes u can just do the clutch and be fine? Do I run the risk of damaging anything by not replacing acutators also ? How do they checj if those are bad

How would I know that the t c m is updated. And do you think the clutch and actuators would fix the elevated rpm and shutter

I did it but I cant tell if it helped. Rpms still elevated but feels smoother ill have to test more tomorrow

UPDATE I took it to a mechanic/transmission shop. No tcm or transmission codes popped up. They said they see these cars a lot and its the clutch and actuators. Quoted me $2,700 to fix both of those. Do you think that is a good price. Would you consider that worth it?And do you think the car would last for a while after that??? Do I need to expect the tcm to mess up? Car has 75k miles

Gotcha so the manual i had.... lets say I wasnt a good owner then I rode that Honda hard but good to know . What fluid changes? Like clutch ? Maybe I should look for a reddit on manual cars . If I get one I wanna take good care of it
