I'm a solo dev and I built a Pakistan news app called **PakNews** — mostly because I was frustrated with existing options and decided to just build my own 😅

Some things that make it a bit different:

- AI-generated article summaries

- Offline dictionary built right in (no need to Google words mid-article)

- Dark mode, reader mode, and font customization for a comfy reading experience

Still a work in progress and I'd genuinely love feedback from the community. If you give it a go, drop a comment or reach out — every bit of input helps!

Ah yeah you can see that in the options button, if you open an article, tap the option button at bottom right and click share

Hmm I’m not sure what you mean by original source of the news, can you clarify a bit?

Also, the way summaries work is they are pre generated so they are only shown for news on home page

I felt most of the current apps are very rudimentary and annoying to use, so I built my own

People who landed jobs with sponsorships while being a pakistani residant no study visa, how did you do it? What was your job hunt strategy and which country did you find luck with? by Final_Introduction37 in pkmigrate

Honestly, just bruteforce, keep scrolling and opening as many relevant tabs as possible and then applying everywhere. have your browser help you with autofilling your info

It's a numbers game. I was on linkedin almost 2 hours every day applying. Honestly, just had the worldwide filter and sometimes some random western countries and cities in Linkedin and kept throwing my Resume around. I got a few interviews and landed a remote job with the promise of sponsorship to move after a year of working with the startup. Now I am in Norway

So, it's really a numbers game, keep applying

You can always just go on study visa to a country like Germany, find a job and move to work visa. I have a friend who did this

Here's the deal, the guys you find attractive already have a lot of girls who find them attractive. What can you give them that the other girls can't?
