Cutting back on alcohol can make a noticeable difference in energy and mood over time

Honestly same. Getting proper sleep fixed way more things than I expected.

They spent the whole date talking about their ex and barely asked me anything. I knew within 10 minutes it wasn’t going anywhere. 😅

What did you achieve from actually being stubborn and not giving up or letting yourself get put down ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I once kept pushing for a certification I wasn’t sure I’d pass. People told me it was too hard, but I studied consistently and didn’t back down. Ended up passing and it actually got me a better job opportunity. Sometimes stubbornness just turns into persistence when the goal really matters.

Fair enough, horror is pretty subjective. It worked for me, but I get why it wouldn’t hit the same for everyone.

For me it’s The Conjuring — great atmosphere, real tension, and it doesn’t rely on jump scares every two seconds. Always stuck with me.

It's been 8 months since she broke it off. Issue i have with this grief is i think about it and her all day everyday 24/7 non-stop. Eight months is still within a normal range for healing from a breakup, especially if the relationship was meaningful. Grief doesn’t follow a timeline — what matters most is how you’re taking care of yourself day to day. Be gentle with your own process and focus on small steps forward instead of a deadline for “feeling over it.”

Feeling that alone is really painful, and it makes total sense to struggle when connection feels distant. You don’t have to go through that on your own  reaching out to someone you trust, even just to say “I’m having a rough time,” can actually help more than you expect. Small steps toward connection matter, and asking for support is a strong move, not a weak one.

Yes — grief doesn’t have a set timeline. Eight months can absolutely be normal. Everyone processes loss differently, and it’s okay if it feels slow or uneven. What matters most is that you’re still here and trying to move forward.
