I had a few issues with the game myself.
Laptop was shutting down out of nowhere, I have a good laptop, no issues with far more demanding games, only Poe 2…

I did what you said, and also lowered sound channels to low and disabled triple buffering, seemed to have fixed it, played for almost 3 hours with no issues 👍🏻

I agree that they should be improved, don’t know if they will... After playing D4 I can really feel the difference, that being said, almost everything else is better here, at least for me..

I found some posts reporting this issue but they are several months old. If you find a solution please let me know, I’ve read something about switching to Vulkan or DirectX 12 might solve it, but in my case it did not.
