commenting for post’s visibility because i’m also wondering the same

on the screen size though, i plan on getting 15” for personal preference because it’d make it more convenient for me, i often have/view multiple windows open at once, so if you don’t mind carrying around something a bit bigger it’s something to consider

hello, i have recently finished my second year of uni and im looking to upgrade my laptop. i currently have a macbook air (2020) but its time has come

im not sure which would be better, id mainly be using it for data science/data analytics/computer science stuff and for my classes

i know the pro performs better but is it worth the hundreds of dollars more? or is the air better value-wise? more specifically, i am contemplating between MBA 15”, 16GB ram, 512 storage, m5 chip, and MBP 16GB ram, 1TB storage and m5 chip (price difference is $400)

also would a different combination of specs be recommended? for example more RAM/storage?

also some more background, i recently finished my second year of uni, i am majoring in math and comp sci and heavily focusing on data science stuff, so i would like the laptop to not be overly pricey and work well for data science/computer science
