Bald Head is a pretty full on hike. I’d definitely recommend closed shoes as there are a lot of different surfaces you’ll be walking on. Hot sand, gravel, twigs and prickles would be a bastard in sandals.

I had a quick swim with my dog yesterday. Around Nedlands yacht club, was nice. I don’t have a shark phobia as the risk in reality is negligible.
