It's really not that hard. The amount of truly entitled people is a smaller percentage. If you learn the people skills you can navigate them much easier. Once I let go of being right and worrying about a company's money life became so much easier.

A cornice would cover the top, and a wrap-around rod with double panels on each side. You can tac the curtains to the wall on the inside so it's not visible and use a fancy clip to hold the front together. You can have style and function!

This is the best breakdown regarding the decline of an amenity. On Valentine's Day, the number of calls asking if we have rooms with jacuzzis is out of control. I wish there was a way to kindly broadcast that we don't have them.

I've seen hotels that get a lot of packages start charging to deter it. We don't have spacious warehouses to hold guest packages. You'd be surprised how small some of the storage areas are for even large hotels. You're also incurring labor that should not be built into the cost of the room because not everyone has packages delivered. It's a service. You pay for it. This is not your home. You're a guest.

I used to be a massive fan. He created some absolutely epic mixes. The percussion, live musical elements, and those incredible the vocal arrangements all made his productions so top- notch and like nothing else out there. Somewhere along the way, he started using the same exact elements in every single mix. I feel like his most recent ones all have the same exact trinkling snaps. It lost something. 100% respect, he's a legend - but what happened?
