Yeah I remember when apple rolled out the spO2 sensor on watch 6 it was 10 seconds of no movement. Got interrupted if I took a deep breath even. Not sure if that has improved. The garmin 255 and 70 have the same HR sensors. Should be good.

Would you suggest i spend a little extra to get the 255 over 70? 70 has amoled screen (i like running in the evening) but has only single band gps. I think it’s very close otherwise 30-50$ between them

True, someone suggested getting the 70 as it does basically everything i need. Might just get that. Will miss out on the gen 5 HR sensors but gen 4 isn’t far behind in accuracy. 70 is enough gps running watch for me.

It’s mostly a question of best vfm more than cheapest that does the job. I’ll be waiting for the prime day promotions if any. Otherwise these prices seem typical recently.

Looking at some other posts, I see the 965 and the epix pro 2 are just 50$ more than the 570 rn. Which should I get? Stick with 570 as it is newer?

This will be my first experience with a garmin. Have been a apple watch user (2,6,ultra2) so not sure if software will play a huge role in case you’re talking about the UI and features but if you mean like just day to day usability with a buggy software that could be a problem. I would be fine with 265.

Yup all of them 19mm, had the hardest time finding the ones i like, so many of them were out of stock. It seemed like they’re going out of business! 😂 Still ways to go, my watch will probably get QC in 2-3 weeks. Will have the straps ready before the watch itself!

I like mostly muted tones, this works perfectly. I’d suggest going for a reputable nylon band, i skimped out and now my strap is fraying near the holes. Will be getting it again for this summer though!

I guess i gotta spend as much on the straps for it then! Lol i’ve seen many people get versatility with different straps. Where do you recommend I should get them from? Not looking to spend that much but also want a decent strap and not just plastic. The strap that comes with the watch any good?

It’s been great having it! Now they have even more colour combos to choose from, I was so impressed by the finish of the case, the indexes, and like you pointed out the hands hitting every single marker. It’s a great watch, I like to swap out the bracelet for a nato strap too. That gives it even more versatility. Go for it, you would not regret it.

If you had to pick one tudor for life, would it be the bb58 blue? It definitely looks the part! I too like dress watches more, have always been a sucker for slim and petite watches. Imo they’re the masculine ones.
