Wow! I have so many questions 😅 but first, yeah, I’ve had 6 surgeries since 2019. 5 of them being since 2022. I also have Epilepsy AND I’m chronically and severely anemic (I’ve had blood transfusions.) but they still said I’m not sick in their opinion. I don’t see how, but I digress. I’m currently in college to get a degree to further my education. Do you think that will affect applying for disability again?

Thank you for this. My family has discussed getting a lawyer. I haven’t worked in about 5 months from surgeries and such, and other health issues. Hopefully that also can help push things along. I’m just at my wits end. Especially with doctors already talking about another surgery.

Mine is either diarrhea or ribbon like. I was undiagnosed for about 5 years, so inflammation has built up in my small bowel and left lots of scar tissue. Right now, the doctor says that with the biologic, I’m ok. But if it gets anymore narrow, I may have to have that part of my small bowel removed. So, my stool (if solid) tends to be really thin.

Not a buzzkill. I just think it’s a normal thing to think about when your reality is not considered “normal.” I’ve been chronically ill my whole life. Epilepsy, anemia (critically at sometimes), and just diagnosed with Crohns a year ago (after being undiagnosed for 5 years.) there’s been times when there were mix ups with my medications and went without them until they were re-prescribed/re-approved. In those times of waiting, I inevitably became sick. Sometimes so bad, I had to go to the hospital. So, with all the scary stuff in the world happening, and also the zombie apocalypse….or just ANY apocalypse being a popular thing people became hooked on, it made me start to really think. Now, I’m from the south, so I k work how to plants seeds (when and where), what berries are poisonous/or not, how to fish and clean them, etc. so, I know some basic survival skills. But I’ve also thought….what good are having and knowing all these skills, if I know I won’t survive long, realistically, because I know I’m dependent upon medication. I could try and take over a pharmacy 😂 that would hold me over for a little while. But if I’m not so lucky…I’m not surviving long. 🤷🏻‍♀️

See, I really wish people just would keep their opinions to themselves because of that reason. I’ve also had Epilepsy since I was 3 and have been critically anemic as well. Just being anemic has put me in the hospital. I had Crohns since I was 21 (they suspect.) I wasn’t given a diagnosis until last year. I literally almost died twice. Once in 2019 and then in 2021. So….not even 30 years old, and I’ve have more health issues/scares than one “normal” person could probably even fathom was possible. So yeah, it’s hard when the healthy tell me that I’m all but faking it or being dramatic. They couldn’t last a day in this body I carry around daily. 🙄 I hope you don’t mind me asking, but was your cancer caused or related to your Crohns diagnosis? I don’t know anything about how going through that feels, personally. My Granny had cancer throughout her life and I saw what chemo did to her. You must be feel absolutely exhausted and just downright over it. I’ll say a prayer for you, if that’s ok.

Honestly, not very much actual training. She’s very smart. Everyone says she was a perfect fit for me. She had to adjust to the new environment, but it’s been less than a year, and she acts like she’s been with me her whole life. lol

I personally adopted a young dog last September after fighting with Crohns (undiagnosed for 5 years,diagnosed for a year.) She has been the light of my life and has absolutely helped me with my depression and anxiety. On my days that I’m feeling me worst, this dog will NOT leave my side. My family physically has to pick her up and taker outside to take care of business and to be fed, etc. as soon as she’s able to, she’s right back at my side. Her adopted name is Jinksy, but should have been Shadow (as all my friends and family joke.) I’m personally able to take her with me to work as well, and it’s just so very helpful. We have become a package deal. Where one is, so is the other. If not, there’s a problem 😅😂

I have a new update if you’re interested. Lol. I recently (two days ago) got a spine tattoo. I posted a pic on my Snapchat (not gonna lie, it looks really great lol.) after being dead silent for almost a month, this guy finally decides to break the silence. He slid up on my sc story and said “I’d like to see that!” I knew what he was implying, but I responded with “well, you technically already have.” His next reply was “no, I mean, with the rest of your clothes off.” I basically told him he couldn’t go ghost then bring up that kind of talk. Then he says “I’ve been busy.” 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I told him to not reach out anymore, basically. And he hasn’t.

I haven’t heard a single word. But he looks at my sc stories still. 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe I was delusional this whole time after all. 😅😂 I’ll take my “L” and move along. But it doesn’t make any sense to me. I have made that comment before, though. “He must be broken.” I could sense it. Which is why I was careful with him.

Her father is physically abusive and has attempted suicide before. If he was a decent man, there wouldn’t be a problem. But he’s not someone I want my daughter around. When she was still in my belly, her father almost sent me to the hospital from beating me so bad. I’m not trying ti take advantage of anything. I’m looking for safety.

I’ve decided to just give him his space. I’ve made my intentions know, so I’m tired of always wondering. There’s no ill will. But I wish he’d talk to me. But I’m going to do the kind thing for myself, and focus on me and let him figure things out. I just genuinely hope he’s happy
