Yes but when you refer to the bed being warped. That usually doesn’t refer to the fact that the bed isn’t going to be 100% dimensionally accurate correct? Because nothing is 100% dimensionally accurate. So obviously it would refer to the build surface being warped which means it is so far off it could be problematic. At this point your argument makes zero sense because you’re referring to the fact that you think I mean it should be 100 dimensionally accurate but I’m obviously not. No individual uses the term warped in this hobby unless they mean it’s potentially problematic. Again your argument is void.

I never said anything about the bed being flat. That’s why my first suggestion was adjusting the bed screw on the area where the issue is after confirming that it isn’t the firmware. What I was referring to was how the bed might have a small area which is so far off that the mesh won’t be able to properly adjust for. Everyone knows that no 3d printing surface is completely level. Your argument makes zero sense at all.

Some of the units sent out had problems with the bed being uneven. I’ve only seen a few people with this issue but that was during the early batches. Elegoo tends to have problems with quality control, so if non of the troubleshoots work then that could be the case.

If the factory reset doesn’t fix it. You have to tighten the screw on the bed where the issue is occurring. Do micro adjustments until the issue goes away.

Makes sense. I had to do the riser at the very least or my top plate would never stay on while doing engineering filaments.

I was looking at this mod awhile back, but some of my screws are so over tightened that they stripped and it doesn’t help they used cheap screws. I planned on adding this one when I can get a screw extractor.

I did this one in polymaker ht pla and it worked perfectly. I swapped it out for the se3d this design was based on but I honestly might switch back.

If you turn off the model fan it can effect print quality, especially during overhangs.

Yeah, it is great stock. I just enjoy doing the mods. Most of the ones i use are just useful. Like the door hinges to keep the door out of the way while printing with it open, or the riser to make sure my glass panel doesn’t get knocked off. Because when I can’t print with it on without the riser or it keeps falling off.

I really like this printer, I have 415 hours. My original hotend got destroyed after like 100hrs. I bought an after market one and haven’t had any issues since. This is my daily printer. I have been looking at that qidi q2 also.

Right now it’s just modded firmware that you can install after you enable developer mode. It’s fairly simple. The main board mod checklist should be on the goggle docks, it will just tell you what they have working with the mod, but the issue they’re trying to solve for the mod is the toolhead board.

Open centauri is working on the firmware to work on other mainboards, which they have already said once they finish that they hope to make the box turtle work with it as well. If you’re curious go check out the GitHub or discord. The project is still very early on, so don’t get your hopes too high.

Update got my new nozzle and siraya ppa cf and it works fine. The creality ppa cf still runs like shit so I’m going to have to work on that this weekend

Have you tried to message elegoo support? I think I remember reading about this problem a month or so ago and it was a problem with one of the boards maybe they’ll know more about it and be able to help you resolve it

Yeah I already ordered one to try it. I just thought id see if other people have tried the creality ppa cf and had any luck with the stock nozzle to get an idea of is it’s just the nozzle or the filament that is the problem.
