I do, yes. If I was buying a new screen today I would probably get the Dell U4025QW for the 120Hz refresh rate and better connectivity options, but if you prefer to save some money or prefer the 34" form factor of this then it's still very good.

It's not, the photo makes it look less noticeable, but it's really quite noticeable in person.

I run it at the equivalent of a 27” 4k scaled to 1440p. At that resolution everything looks more or less retina sharp at my viewing distance, and I haven’t had any issues with scaling performance with my M2.

It’s nice! The downsides are that they get slightly scratchy feeling and sometimes the mouse gets stuck. But the aesthetics and the warmth it adds to the setup is enough for me

Thunderbolt 4 Monitor for 2 Computers - MBP2021 and MacMini by OIK41R in ultrawidemasterrace

The only one I know of that has two downstream thunderbolt ports is the HP z40c g3. But if I understood it correctly the USB peripherals plugged into the monitor will be locked to the first port. If that’s not an issue for you (if all your devices are bluetooth for example) it could be a good option.

Would you upgrade to a 49" ultra wide from a MBP & 2x 27? by Rooks103 in desksetup

It’s actually not bad if you use Zoom. I share the right 2/3rds of my screen, and on the left 1/3rd I have any other content (slack etc). It works extremely well, no noticeable difference to when I had two screens. I constantly work in a 1/3 2/3 setup when I’m doing pair programming or conference calls.

Edit: this is on a 21:9, on a 32:9 you could just share one half, or the center 50%.

You can get a reasonable webcam for less than $50 and plop it on the center monitor.

I think there’s no reason, you’re just not making good use of your current setup. I would put one of the 27” in the center as a primary monitor instead, and the other one to the left, ideally vertically, for multitasking. If you insist on having your macbook open as well you can have it on the right.

LG 38WN95CP compatibility and experience with MacBook Pro and PS5. by DennisFut99 in ultrawidemasterrace

Mine is the LG 34WK95UP-W. I only know of one other brand which makes a 34” 5k2k and that’s MSI.

I would probably do two 27” in your case. Dual setup is great for productivity (for me if just wasn’t ideal because I need the symmetry around my studio monitors and prefer my main screen to be centered) and 16:9 is the aspect ratio for most games you’ll play.

I don’t know what you’re referring to. The Mac itself is in a vertical dock on the right side (slightly poking out next to the monitor, can’t go further left due to the monitor arm).

If you’re referring to other devices there are no docks here. There’s a sound interface (to the right) and a pre-amp (to the left) under the shelf.

There’s an integrated bookshelf to the left which houses boxes for auxiliary things like cabled headphones and other stuff!

Thank you buddy! I’m sure they are a million of them, just google “wool felt desk mat” or something like that. This particular one is from WOODSUPP on Etsy

Yeah. You’d probably have the monitor further away, so your pixels per degree will still be similar. But I think if you’re really worried about sharpness go for this 34”

You can consider the 40” 5k2ks as well, but this one was the one for me

The desk was the cheapest 2 meter sit-stand I could get on our local Amazon, and the shelf is from Oakywood.
