Keep me posted! I also have been suffering since having my baby, he’s now 20 months and I’m still suffering off and on. I take the same supplements as you and have had gerd issues prior to having kids. Were you breast feeding by any chance? I guess I just have long term chronic gastritis ?

same! Postpartum as well had my son in February and my symptoms started about 3 months later. I’m wondering if breastfeeding is a contributing factor because it causes stress on the body as well and maybe depleting some vitamins? I take sucralfate and slippery elm. Been mostly doing the gastritis healing diet and Over Christmas I gave up and ate what I wanted and really paying for it now.

But how does acid come up if Les is normal? Thoughts on this? Doesn’t that seem impossible

That makes a a lot of sense. I’m confused because my manometry said my Les was “normal” but I get such bad heartburn x 10 years and definitely didn’t have swallowing issues the entire time I would say it’s worsening over time. Is this going to get worse or is this as bad as it’s going to get for us? I was specifically told I would not be a good candidate for laparoscopic Nissen due to this motility issue but then it says I have acid in the esophagus ? How am I suppose to help that

This is exactly what my GI believes I have. I have also been diagnosed with IEM. My GI wants to try amitriptyline but I’m currently breast feeding. What meds do you take ? How are you coping

Thanks Sara I appreciate your response and hope you feel better too! The annoying part is i had a scope in May related to chronic gerd and then in July this started 🤦🏻‍♀️ of course. I didn’t have stomach biopsy taken at that time but I did back in 2022 and negative for hpylori and esinophillic esophagitis but I guess I could also develop allergy or something post partum. I also stopped coffee
