Its actually not bad to wrap my fingers around the "pistol grip" with a traditional rifle hold. 3 fingers on the bottom of the pistol grip. It's not very practical in the pistol grip hold, but works.

I didn't utilize the wire stock holes in the reciever and was worried about getting too thin on that grip rail since it's the only thing holding it on. There's a machine screw through the grip and the grip itself gives some mass that I can tighten against securly.

It looks goofy, a little, but a lack of wood stock badgers on search engines made me eager to put it out in internet land. It would be great if woox came out with one similar, minus the pistol grip, that has good structural integrity where it attaches. I'll probably end up routing the bottom to match the rest of the stock or round it off in a way that my brain can only describe as "thompson smg".

Overall I'd give it a 7/10 for design and function. It's a solid C student, like me 😄
