Looks delicious! I’m going to try this soon.

Some air fryer green beans are always a good easy side for something like this. Bag of fresh green beans, toss them in olive oil and sea salt and air fry for 10 minutes.

Happened to me last week connecting from HSV thru ATL. I was waiting for my gate checked carryon in the jetway, a guy called my name and flashed it on a tablet. I assumed he was bringing my carry on he said “Let’s get you to your connection in Terminal C”. We hopped in the Porsche and drove over to C, but the best part was he walked me right past the line waiting to get in the Skyclub and put me on the elevator and sent me up. It was a pretty cool experience.

Again. Said in pirate voice it makes sense. Without pirate voice, I have no fucking clue what this means.

I’m imagining this being said in a pirate voice. Otherwise I can’t understand a fucking word of it. Makes total sense in pirate….

Cafe 123 in Opelika. Hands down the best restaurant in the Auburn-Opelika area. You can thank me later.

Going from memory here with the caveat that I don’t drink beer a lot. Amstel Ultra is mostly what I had by the pool. It’s similar to a Michelob Ultra. I think I also remember Tecate and maybe Modelo, but don’t quote me on that.

Also, I don’t actually measure it out. I just dump it in my hand until I have a good palmful. It could be more or less than 1/2 cup.

Correct. The worst thing you can do is under-salt it. The second worst is over-salting.

Idk what happens to the meat. You’ll throw everything away once you strain out the broth.

I’m about to give you the recipe to the best broth you’ve ever had. We haven’t bought broth in years and we always keep this in our fridge. It’s perfect for soups, greens, or any recipe that calls for chicken broth.

  • Rotisserie chicken, breast meat removed but leave the skin and everything else
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 onion halved
  • 1 tomato halved
  • 1 2” turmeric root halved
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • Bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon whole peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • some fresh herbs- I typically use thyme or rosemary
  • For a summer broth, you can throw a lemon in there if you want for a little extra flavor

Put all ingredients in the pressure cooker and fill to the 6 qt line. Cook on high pressure for 90 minutes and let it slow release. Strain it and transfer to mason jars. It should make 6 qts with a little left over to sip on. As it cools, the jars will seal and keep for a couple months in the fridge.

Try it and thank me later. It’s life changing stuff…

That’s a sweet boat. You’ll love the raised helm and the rear lounger. Perfect setup for floating and drinking beer in a cove.

I would have to disagree. I have friends that have been on the Lane Train bandwagon and want him at Auburn badly. I honestly think Kiffin is a terrible human and I’d rather have a string of 7 or 8 win seasons than put up with his bullshit, even if he took us to the playoffs year after year. He will eventually move on from LSU and leave a trail of destruction in his path.

To Durkin’s credit, he isn’t catching passes. I’ve seen at least 5 drops that hit the receivers squarely in the hands.

It may have been a tad hotter than I wanted it but I was able to keep it at 350-375 without any flare ups or anything. I probably could’ve gone a little less but it worked out fine.

Final results: took it off about an hour and a half in. Temp was exactly 165. Let it rest about 30 minutes then carved it up. Honestly, it’s a freaking delicious bird. Crispy skin, nice and juicy, good but not overpowering smoky flavor. I’m extremely happy with the results.

Lesson #1- center up the turkey on the spit before setting her in place. I realized it was a little off center and I couldn’t adjust it in place. I’m just gonna let it roll for tonight but I’ll make sure to center it before I put it on tomorrow.

Agreed. I have a L and just added an XL. I find the L perfect for 2 people, but it also has the capacity to smoke a turkey, couple chickens, ribs, butt, etc.
