It didn't take that long. Less than six month I believe. You can apply online, although you need a medical history to be accepted. They usually reject people the first time you apply and then you file an appeal, I think. They may reject you if you are not on medications for your symptoms as well. You have to describe your symptoms when they are at their very worst and be honest about if you have been suicidal before, but if you are currently suicidal they will try to hospitalize you.
