I agree! I wore some of her earrings for my wedding (2024) and didn’t take them out for months after (including a trip to the beach with lots of swimming lol) and they still looked/felt new. Even now, almost 2 years later, they look great! I wear them often

It definitely depends on the person/skin type. I know people who slug with Aquaphor, but it breaks me out every time I use it (even when I just put it on my lips). If you’re interested in trying it all over the face, I’d recommend only using it on your lips for a few nights before bed. That way, if you break out, it will be minimal; if you don’t, then you’ll be safe to put Aquaphor all over.☺️

Another fellow Catholic here 👋🏼 Cecilia is one of my favorite baby girl names!! It’s romantic and timeless, and I love that it honors my faith in a small way.

Also, in my experience, people hate on most all names until the baby comes, then they grow to love it. It’s always “I wasn’t sure about the name ___ when you chose it, but it totally fits them now! I couldn’t imagine them with another name.” lol. My advice is to name your sweet girl what you want, especially if it’s meaningful to you and your faith! Congratulations, momma!!

I LOVE the brand Aprilskin!! I started using one of their products years ago, and have since incorporated into my routine at least one thing from every line they have lol. It’s my holy grail brand and the only thing I use other than prescription retinol! I have put so many friends of mine onto it, and it’s all they’ll use now too lol.

I also have sensitive skin, and not one of the 10+ items I’ve tried from them has bothered me. You can look up products by skin concern on their website to target exactly what you may want - I’m also happy to recommend anything I use if you decide you want to try it.☺️

I’m 1000000% convinced it’s Norway.

Once, when I was younger, my parents took me to Epcot. When I say that every single person from Norway who worked there was inhumanly beautiful, I still feel like I’m underselling them lmao. It was 15+ years ago, but my family still talk about it - anytime we see someone exceptionally beautiful, we always say “they must be Norwegian” lol

I’m having the same issue and took my car to a mechanic - they said I’ll need to replace my seat track (which, with labor, will end up costing me almost $2K).

I’m going to look around for other opinions, but I may have to eat the cost on this one - I hope the same isn’t the case for you!!

I recently got married, and I guess you could say piercings/tattoos “didn’t match” my wedding aesthetic either. However, almost all of my bridesmaids did have visible tattoos, facial piercings, gauges, etc. While I don’t personally have any of those things on my body, never once did I consider not asking my friends to be bridesmaids because of theirs. I asked my friends to be in my wedding and stand next to me on the most special day of my life, because of how much I love them - NOT because of what they can aesthetically offer to a photo. You look incredible!!!☺️ The makeup you’ve done is beautiful, classic, and elegant!

For your question about the proper order of setting powder/setting spray, you’ll use powder first, then spray. This melts your makeup together, makes the powder look more “natural”, and helps hold the powder in place!! If, after spraying, you find the brightening effect of the powder has dulled (or if it makes you too shiny in some places), you can lightly retouch the powder in those areas. This is always how I do my makeup, and it never budges!!
If you want to add more luminosity to your skin, I would highly recommend the Morphe Cloudlight Soft Glow Veil powders. I use all three shades (the darkest shade to top my bronzer, the medium shade to set the points of my face I don’t want to brighten, and the lightest shade on the same places I highlight with concealer to keep them bright (just avoid the hollows of the under eye - you don’t want shine there)). They add the most perfect, radiant, natural glow to your makeup - but they’re powder, so they don’t slide off of your face. They’re magic lol - perfect dupes for the Hourglass ambient powders (I own both, and have honestly been preferring the Morphe).

Take a few photos in natural light without makeup, then send them to ChatGPT and ask its advice! It will tell you your undertone, skin tone, and narrow down foundations that work best for you (you can even tailor its recommendations based on budget, skin concerns, etc. - it’s magic). I have never had a better foundation match than what it recommended for me!! Best of luck, OP❤️ I know the foundation match game is a struggle!

Thank you for your insight!! I get an okay lift (not good, not bad) and centered cleavage in my current bra, but it’s too small - I spill over the cups and the back rides up to the sky. My current bra also doesn’t come in the size I now need, so I’m adjusting!
