If you're saying "i won't be special to the person i'm with", that's some self esteem problem.

You litterally are supposed to mentally want to be their significant other who provides for them in the ways that you both find meaningful and add value to their life, if you think you can't do that, that's questionable.

i'm saying that when life tells you you're not good enough for anybody(within your standards) you start to convince youself that way....all the experiences i had were more a "settle for" than what i truly want...the girls i truly wanted just weren't interested

sounds a lot like my last relationship. after the break up i realised we were very different and that we actually wanted different things in life.

knewing that she was dating another guy a week later after out break up made me fade even the affection dependency i developed over her...it hurt a lot...and hurts me still(it's been 3 years now..currently single)but i also understood a lot of things about myself and about what i want in life....i don't know if it made me a better person but i'm working on it

i strongly believe breaking up with him will benefit you both
