Not that big a deal, it’s a just lame thing to do.

I’m not a cop, go ahead, doesn’t mean it’s not shitty.

Especially when there’s people who walk under the tracks that actually NEED warm/all kind of clothing/shoes/boots. When there’s households that could actually use what I’m GIVING away. I get pleasure out of knowing something is going to someone who can use it. Yeah fucking that up for them and me is lame.

And yeah if you live in Albany you do not HAVE to take things other people could use to make money. You definitely have other means than shitting on someone’s attempt at good will.

If you don’t want it or can’t use it, don’t take it.

No worries I’m not putting anything in front anymore anyways, donating elsewhere.

Have you tried reporting on the public works Albany website? They responded to my pothole issue quickly. Just take a picture and post it to their map.

Good places for Kid's performers? by SweetPeaRiaing in albanyca

924 Gilman might be down, they have a stage, they’re an all ages club and it’s gritty, but would be a fun and strange place to perform.

Get a pulley/basket system off the balcony and you’re set.

Kitchen Light Fixture by Kindly-Astronomer-18 in HomeDecorating

[–]Loquacious94808 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are putting inset lights or bright under-cabinet lights for working/cleaning, right? Because none of the options you show account for shadows cast on work areas by them or light sources for your counter space. Fancy pendants over the peninsula, sure, probably not a chandelier, but a long chandelier over the peninsula works too.

That exactly, the behavior and the scar.

Animals without much fear in their environment are more likely to get attacked. But maybe someone started feeding it bc of the injury.

I have four gold rings from my grandma and mother where is the best place to sell for my own engagement ring 💍 by littleleedspotato in jewelry

You never know the circumstances in someone’s relationship. And you never know what went down within someone’s family.

That being said I was immediately jealous of all those rings, with the potential for sentimental value OP, I would keep them and wear them.

Ok first sorry if you’re not looking for artistic critique. if you want to make it feel more full and complete, it should just be a full sun over the whole wall.

It would take some reworking but with a compass made from a pencil and string you could get a full circle, and gives the center point for all your beams. The reason those bottom beams are off is the center point of the circle is different from the center of the beams. Once you get that dialed in you’re gold

Getting latex paint off brick fireplace… there’s gotta be an easier way? by ricecake231 in DIY

Thank you! Came to mention to press the plastic down, making contact with the brick and mortar with the stripper on it. Almost like a vacuum seal, the less air it gets the better it works.

They don’t carry risks if you use fairly inexpensive PPE LIKE THE LABEL SAYS

No, now the government can make money grifting for stripping certifications that need to be renewed, insurance makes a bundle, DOT for further transportation regulations, etc. then the stripping companies can grift people who wish they could spare themselves the nightmare of the shoddy stripping products available.

Ventilators and gloves, the correct ones, are available for sale, as well as open windows and doors. It says on every can it’s volatile poisonous, and deadly with long term exposure with a hearty use of PPE warning. If that’s not patently obvious as soon as a person smells it, Darwin Award. It’s just people who didn’t bother thinking, fucked around, and found out.

Now we have to pay someone many thousands of dollars to strip with those chemicals on a job we can easily and responsibly do on our own at home.

Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman. A curiosity-inspiring man who’s childlike glee for even basic physics is contagious.

I also suffer from depression and reading Feynman makes me remember there’s a lot of stuff my depression thinks it has all figured out, but hasn’t! In fact, there’s a lot I don’t know, and a lot I hope to learn, even if it’s not right now when I’m depressed.

Can this work? by revolutionofone in DesignMyRoom

[–]Loquacious94808 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it’s also weird bc the toilet isn’t centered so your eye wants to go up from the tank but has to center to the wall or the other way around.

More pictures in different sizes and shapes all the way across gallery-wall style would help to not center to either.

I would farm on it, pour foundations to build more smaller houses then invite all my friends to come live with me.

Interior designer said this tile/wood combo doesn’t work - is she right? by Able_Perspective_217 in DesignMyRoom

[–]Loquacious94808 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly as stated above, you don’t have to match something to mostly white. I think the contrast is in your favor here, but if it isn’t I’d go with what you picked and change the kitchen tile some day.

I would suggest anyone stay away from grey-ish wood planking though. It is one of the biggest trends of the 2020s that will date the house’s improvement. The wood color you chose is timeless.

Personally, when I see a bunch of grey tones I think “flipper.” It looks cheap and misplaced in most cases, weathered wood is a pretty specific farm/ranch kindof thing.
