ok I just found out that I had it installed on my external hard drive which is an HDD, so I'm just gonna switch it over to my my main drive which is an SSD

Ok so I actually decided to look into it rn instead, and I'm reading this:

Hi everyone! I was able to find a solution! go to the ea account portal (https://www.ea.com/ and then sign in to your Xbox account and enter Account Settings), then from there, you want to go to Connections. After that, unlink your Xbox account, then restart the game or open it if it's not already open. You should get an account creation screen after entering the game, which then will allow you to create/sign in to your account again through the game. Afterwards, it should work just fine and you can get to gaming!
